Job Summary

• As a marketing officer you will be responsible for driving business growth through loan generation, deposit mobilization, and promoting the Bank’s electronic products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to generate loans and mobilize deposits.
• Actively promote the Bank’s electronic products, including POS terminals, mobile app, internet banking, and other financial services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Carry out regular market intelligence to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
• Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to increase the Bank’s market share.
• Prepare and submit periodic marketing reports to the Branch Manager.
• Support other marketing and promotional activities as assigned.

Requirements

• B.Sc or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or any related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar marketing or business development role within the banking or microfinance sector.
• Relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed targets.
• Good knowledge of microfinance banking products and operations.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
