The opportunities exist, but the pathways to those opportunities are often blocked by access, cost, or simply not knowing where to start.

At MyJobMag, we interact with people looking for opportunities daily. We see the struggles firsthand. We see bright graduates who want to do more, build more, become more, but just need the right skills to take the first step.

Who Can Apply.

To be eligible for the MyJobMag Career Kickstart Scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be a citizen or legal resident of Nigeria.
  • Be 18 years or older.
  • Be unemployed, underemployed, or seeking a career change.
  • Must be a graduate of a University or Polytechnic.

Priority will be given to those who can demonstrate a genuine need for financial assistance or lack access to other funding resources.

The scholarship covers a variety of in-demand digital skills, including Project Management, UI/UX Design, Digital Marketing, Python Programming, Web Design, and more. Recipients can choose any course that aligns with their career goals.

Do scholarship winners receive additional support for the training?

Yes, in addition to the full scholarship, winners will receive 20GB of data to help them complete their virtual training without connectivity issues.

How can I apply for the scholarship?

To apply, complete the online application form and submit a two-minute video link telling us one challenge you are facing in your career journey and how this scholarship will help you overcome it. The video can be hosted on any cloud hosting platform or on Youtube with public access. Applications are open from December 15, 2025, to January 30, 2026.

When will scholarship winners be announced?

The scholarship winners will be announced in February 2026, following the review period in the same February 2026.

Can my organization partner with MyJobMag for this scholarship?

Yes, we welcome partnerships from organizations interested in supporting future projects, offering training, or hiring from our pool of skilled talents. Contact us for more details on how to get involved.

When will the training commence?

The training will commence in March 2026.

What do I need to participate in the training?

You will need a laptop and an active internet connection to participate in the training.

How do I attend the training?

Classes are entirely virtual. All you need is a laptop and an internet connection.

How long is the training?

The training spans a total of 4 weeks.

Will there be a certification at the end of the training?

Yes, you will be awarded a certificate of completion at the end of the four weeks training.
