    Sales & Marketing Manager

    Industry: Hotel/Hospitality

    Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos State

    NOTE: Prior working experience in a similar position in hotel/hospitality setting is highly required for this role.

    Job Summary

    We’re looking for a flexible and versatile sales and marketing manager who will be responsible for the growth of our inbound sales channels. To be successful in this role, you should have hands-on experience with web analytics tools and be able to turn creative ideas into effective advertising projects. Ultimately, you will help us build and maintain a strong and consistent brand through a wide range of online and offline marketing channels.

    Job Description

    • Develop action plans and set objectives for increased revenue and maximum sale for the hotel management
    • Implement sales and marketing strategies necessary for attracting clients to patronize the hotel
    • Maintain a clear understanding of hotel policies and ensure compliance
    • Carry out research and analysis to identify new markets and business opportunities
    • Oversee the hiring and training of  sales representatives
    • Seek out business with large organizations and corporate firms to increase corporate turn out
    • Prepare and distribute promotional and advertisement materials to create awareness for hotel products/services
    • Maintain a complete knowledge of all the services of the hotel, so as to conduct successful sales
    • Explain and notify clients of recent upgrades and available options for hotel services
    • Oversee the management of client account and service tab
    • Collaborate with event and wedding planners to ensure increased patronage and hotel booking
    • Oversee the processing of payments and offering discounts to client when necessary
    • Assign job duties to hotel personnel and ensure effective performance of assigned tasks
    • Supervise the customer service unit of a hotel to ensure compliance with set standards of hospitality and customer service.
    • Maintain contact with clients to obtain feedback and encourage continued patronage.

    Job Requirements:

    • BSc. In Marketing, Business Administration or any related fields.
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing and knowledge of hotel/hospitality industry is required.
    • Prior working experience in a similar position in a hotel is a MUST
    • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics
    • Superior interpersonal, relationship building with strong customer orientation
