Creative Video Editor at Home Finder Nigeria

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize, create, and edit engaging video content that aligns with our brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
2. Edit raw footage into high-quality videos, ensuring seamless transitions, visual continuity, and proper pacing.
3. Use creative editing techniques, including color grading, audio mixing, motion graphics, and visual effects, to enhance the overall impact of the videos.
4. Utilize storytelling techniques to craft compelling narratives that effectively communicate our brand message and resonate with our target audience.
5. Stay updated on industry trends and video editing best practices to continuously enhance the quality and effectiveness of our video content.
6. Work closely with the marketing team to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audience, and provide creative input and recommendations.
7. Manage and organize video assets, ensuring proper file naming, storage, and backup procedures are followed.
8. Ensure the videos are optimized for different platforms and formats, including social media, website, and presentations.
9. Maintain a consistent brand identity and style across all video content.

Requirements:

1. Proven work experience as a Video Editor or in a similar role.
2. Proficient in video editing software (e.g., DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects).
3. Strong portfolio demonstrating your video editing skills and creativity.
4. Solid understanding of video editing techniques, including color grading, audio mixing, motion graphics, and visual effects.
5. Familiarity with the latest trends and best practices in video editing and storytelling.
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
7. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
8. Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and bring fresh ideas to the table.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
10. Knowledge of the real estate industry or previous experience working on real estate-related video projects is a plus.

Note: Proximity to Ajah axis is vital. Applicant must reside on the island and preferably close to Abraham Adesanya.
