    Unit Head, Sales - Consumer

    We are resourcing for a Unit Head, Sales – Consumer for our client, an integrated payment and transaction processing company. Our client services Oil & Gas, Government, Education and Financial Services.

    Reporting to the Head, Business Development, the successful candidate will articulate and facilitate the implementation of an effective sales strategy in order to meet defined Consumer revenue
    targets. He/she will ensure the use of firms' services and channels meet the specific needs of each customer segment and champion the penetration of firms' consumer services. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Ensure the usage of the firms' services and channels by putting together solutions that meet the specific needs of each customer segment.
    • Work with customers’ interaction and engagement to drive engagement of consumers converted to firms' services.
    • Drive revenue through creative sales techniques with strong public relations leadership and client and employee relations skills.
    • Conduct sales calls while targeting result oriented high revenue potential sales calls to ensure success.
    • Handle relationship management between the firm and SVA (Stored Valued Account) merchants.
    • Plan and implement an ongoing targeted account list to create new revenue and acquire valuable contacts.
    • Drive revenue through creative sales techniques with strong public relations leadership and client and employee relations skills.
    • Engage pre-payment partners and aggregators for reselling of products (e.g. airtime resellers).
    • Manage relationships with SMEs.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with all customers and perform regular customer visits using structured visitation plans.

    Divisional Chief Executive Officer

    We are resourcing for a Divisional Chief Executive Officer for our client, an integrated payment and transaction processing company. Our client services Oil & Gas, Government, Education and Financial Services.

    Reporting to the Group Managing Director and accountable to the Board of Directors, the successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the Mobile Financial Services department with a mandate to build the largest mobile financial services product in Africa. A major focus will be to drive the total achievement of organization's corporate goals by formulating and implementing the Agency Banking Business Strategy in alignment with the Company’s business model, as well as developing and managing the implementation of sales strategies to meet and exceed target projections.

    He/she will also be responsible for day-to-day management of the Mobile Financial Services subsidiary, in order to drive the adoption of mobile money and mobile banking by subscribers, merchants and agents

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Identify opportunities and develop strategies that will ensure that products and deliverables are of the highest quality to ensure client satisfaction.
    • Effectively direct, coordinate and monitor all sales, operations, and market development activities.

    Head, Business Development

    We are resourcing for a Head, Business Development for our client, an integrated payment and transaction processing company. Our client services Oil & Gas, Government, Education and Financial Services.

    Reporting to the Divisional CEO, the successful candidate will support business growth across all solutions and the achievement of firms' revenue targets by articulating and managing the delivery of
    an effective sales plan. A key component of this role will be to oversee and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the sales team and ensure sales and service targets are continuously achieved to
    deliver business results. The role oversees both Corporate and Consumer segments of the business.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Support the Divisional CEO in budget preparation and champion the delivery of the team’s budget.
    • Provide insights to the Divisional CEO to support the development of the Sales strategic plan and execution approach.
    • Oversee the generation of relevant market intelligence and feed this to the Divisional CEO towards crafting effective strategies to improve product market share.
    • Report all team activities on budget allocation and execution to the Divisional CEO.
    • Promptly flag off any risk or compliance issues likely to affect sales opportunities (existing/potential).
    • Liaise with regulatory bodies to facilitate approvals for firms' requests and protect the interest of firms' during the formulation of regulatory policies.
    • Review set targets against actual with the Divisional CEO with respect to sales turnover and revenue generated using CRM.
    • Prospect for new opportunities and identify new profitable customers for the firms' products/Services.
    • Negotiate contract and payment terms with clients, review and prepare tenets of agreements/ MOU/NDA and work with the Legal team to finalize and execute the contracts with clients.
    • Carry out research with existing clients to gather market intelligence in relation to the Organization’s products and services.
    • Work with other Group Heads to close any risks/compliance issues identified during the risk assessment and audit exercise.
    • Coach, challenge team members and work to ensure that they are empowered to deliver on agreed targets.
    • Prepare and submit weekly, monthly reports on sales activities to the Divisional CEO.

    • Strong business development skills.
