    Plant / Process Operator III

    MAIN FUNCTIONS

    Responsible for liaising with the Control Room Technician (CRT) and other Operations Technicians on job safety requirements to ensure understanding of the work objectives, safety, health, environmental, Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS), and security concerns. Responsible for supporting the CRT/Ops Supervisor in providing oversight of the area activities and ensuring they are integrated and conducted safely and efficiently. Works in a crew environment to manage activities involved with the safe and efficient operation of all plant units and sulfur recovery operations. Performs surveillance of equipment

    TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Work cooperatively with contractor personnel to prepare and maintain a safe work environment for their work.
    • Responsible for participation in the Operations Emergency Response activities relating to the Area
    • Provide support and coordination with the Systems Completion team in start-up and commissioning of the facilities
    • Take part in the review of work packages for planned maintenance activities within the allocated area, confirm that isolation requirements are applied, and ensure that the preparation of equipment is planned in a manner that provides a safe environment in which personnel can work.
    • Endorse work permits as the Area Operator (AO).
    • Endorse Work Permits as the Isolating Authority (IA) when required.
    • Encourages team effort between Maintenance and Operations groups; supports work prioritization to maximize effectiveness and complement the efforts of other work groups
    • Ensuring the CRT is informed and consulted about operations and major issues
    • Ensures good communication between Areas so that issues can be adequately addressed and actions completed
    • Responsible for maintaining good housekeeping in the allocated Area
    • Maintain a daily log and shift changeover notes
    • Safely perform physical tasks at times, e.g. moving drums of chemicals, lifting, climbing ladders/silos/tanks
    • May perform minor maintenance to equipment
    • Maintain a high standard of plant housekeeping
    • Make process changes to ensure quality control of end products that are within accepted standards.

    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

    • Industry experience in operations, or similar, is required.
    • Very knowledgeable in production operations/processes.
    • Knowledgeable in P&IDs, PFD, and UFD’s
    • Able to read shutdown logic diagrams
    • Highest standard of Safety, Health, and environmental aptitude and cultivates the same in others
    • Excellent communication (oral & written) in English
    • Good interpersonal and motivational skills
    • Ability to interact in a multi-cultural environment; advanced understanding and operation of Emergency Preparedness Procedures
    • Good knowledge of safety management tools and processes.

    Pin Verification Value Engineer

    DESCRIPTION

    The PVV Engineer shall be responsible to facilitate the timely delivery of Preowei Topside Facilities piping scope and integration into the existing Egina facilities, including testing and ready for commissioning activities up to Start up. With the above scope, Preowei project development shall involve the following integration works into the existing Egina FPSO :

    • Integration of the service line to the existing EGINA dead oil system with its associated valves, pig launcher
    •  Integration of the new Methanol and Chemical injection lines from the relevant methanol and chemical injection headers to the Preowei TUTU.
    • Integration of the Preowei Subsea hydraulic lines connecting the Subsea HPU to the TUTU.
    •  Integration of the new drain lines for the DND injection system equipment installed on the S8 module.
    • Ensure engineering is performed in line with the project scope of requirements, company general specifications & procedures, and international codes & company standards within agreed quality, schedule and cost.
    •  Coordinate with HQ TL/STH specialists and prepare derogation requests to company general specifications when required.
    •  Review, comment and approve all PVV basic and detailed engineering documents including incorporation of
      required vendor data.
    •  Ensure the update and development of all philosophies, specifications, data sheets and drawings based on solid design knowledge of offshore oil & gas processing facilities, and with respect to Egina FPSO.
    • Ensure that health, safety, and environmental issues are taken into consideration during the design.
    •  Ensure that the engineering contractor carries out his work to the required level of quality and participate effectively in company design quality audits.
    •  Prepare responses to engineering contractor technical queries or derogation requests.
    • Manage interface with other parts of the project regarding PVV matters including Safety, UFR, SPS, Field operations, Commissioning, Quality and participate in coordination meetings and ensure all interface issues related to Topside integration scope are resolved in a timely manner.
    •  Manage and regularly report contractor progress & resources to ensure that deliverables are issued in a timely manner and work is completed within budget.

    FEED

    • Assist in contract documents finalization.
    •  Identification of any optimization / improvement in the FEED dossier to be implemented in the concept design.
    •  Possible participation in meetings with selected contractor/vendor.
    •  Follow up of possible anticipated studies or activities.
    •  Review contractor's MDR and ensure sufficient deliverables are produced by FEED contractors
    •  Participate in workshops, design reviews, HAZOPs, HAZIDs during the FEED
    • Ensure timely review of all discipline related discipline engineering / design documentation produced by FEED contractors.
    •  Assist the In-country FEED Coordinator/FPSO Leader in technical aspects and preparation Tender Bulletins /response to Technical clarifications
    •  Liaise with other disciplines and Company specialists to ensure technical compliance and quality of deliverables

    Participation in FPSO surveys with contractors

    EPSCC preparation

    • Ensure Contract Exhibits include all necessary Discipline related requirements
    • Review preparation of all necessary Discipline Project Particular Specifications
    •  Assist in preparation of Invitation to Tender (questions to Tenderers) and Technical evaluation criteria

    Call For Tender

    • Review Tender Bulletins / Technical Clarifications answers during CFT
    • Ensure timely review of all Discipline technical deliverables submitted by Tenderers
    •  Advise FEED Coordinator/FPSO Leader of all non-compliance, risks, and inconsistencies in the contractors’ submission
    •  Response to all contractors’ technical qualifications and assist in answering/closing commercial qualifications related to Discipline activities
    •  Perform technical evaluation of contractors’ Discipline submissions
    •  Review technical evaluation report of contractors’ Topside submissions

    JOB REQUIREMENT

    •  Qualification: Relevant Engineering Degree.
    •  Experience: 15years experience in Piping system design and installation in Oil and Gas activities.
    •  Experience in FPSO (or offshore facilities) is a plus
    • Familiar with COMPANY General Specification.
    •  Solid Knowledge of oil and gas industry codes & standards related to piping, valves, and vessels

    Commissioning and Start Up DCS Panel Supervisor

    JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE

    To carry out the commissioning and Startup of the plant and control the process of the gas treatment (warm end) and liquefaction section (cold end) of the Complete Train and/or CLU and Utilities from the Schneider Distributed Control System (DCS) in a safe and efficient manner as per procedures and as directed by the Shift Supervisor.

    MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Carry out daily commissioning and start up activities in the Control room, including loop testing in conjunction with outside Operators and contractor personnel
    • Take part in the Initial Set Up (ISU) of variable Tables as part of the multidisciplinary Asset Management 2.2.4 ENSURE SAFE PRODUCTION module. Take part in the OTS (Operator Training Simulator) development including static model testing, dynamic testing, FAT, SAT etc.
    • Safely Operate the Distributed Control System as per daily instructions and at its optimum Proactively monitor the DCS as per ESP standards specified in the Alarm Variable Tables (VTs)
    • ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Interface with various IT systems (issuing job requests in SAP system, PI, LIMS, e-PTW, e-shift log).
    • Take part in validation of S/U and S/D procedures through early use of Operations Training Simulator (OTS)
    • Act as a signatory (at AGST (Authorized Gas Safety Tester) level) to the Commissioning and Start up Permit to Work (PTW) system, prepare and issue Permit to Work (PTW) to the Maintenance/Contractors team for effective control, authorization and safe work
    • Work with the Contractor/Vendor personnel and provide close involvement and oversight on the plant completion, integrity checks and commissioning activities to ensure flawless and safe
    • Assist in the development and review of operations/commissioning, start up and shutdown procedures for LNG Project scope, capturing lessons learnt and to enable continuous improvement in
    • Support the Asset shift teams in carrying out operational activities during period of low CSU (Commissioning & Start-Up) activities in order to balance the existing workload across the shift and to maintain efficient plant

    Education:

    • HND or equivalent in chemical engineering or other engineering/science discipline.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 10 years oil & gas plant operations experience preferably in Oil and gas industry
    • Experience with Commissioning and Start up on an oil/gas facility considered a qualifying
    • Experience in providing CSU (Commissioning & Start-Up) related design input and working in an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, And Construction) a plant environment considered an

    Commissioning and Start Up Shift Supervisor

    JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE

    To lead the field activities, in the execution of the Integrated Operations, Commissioning and Start up plans, by ensuring the completion, commissioning and start-up of the plant carried out in a safe and efficient manner as per procedures and as directed by Commissioning and Start Up Lead.

    MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Coordinate the Shift teams in the daily commissioning and start up activities to ensure that safe working conditions are maintained at all times and work progress are maintained as per project
    • Coordinate the team in the regular walk down of process/utility lines, installation, tie-in etc. to ensure that plant is built as per design, to the right quality and to ensure
    • Act as a signatory (at Shift Supervisor/AGSI (Authorized Gas Safety Inspector) level) to the Commissioning and Start up Permit to Work (PTW) system, authorize Permit to Work (PTW) to the Maintenance/Contractors team for effective control, authorization and safe work execution. Oversight of CSU (Commissioning & Start-Up) Permit to Work (PTW) system and signatory for high-risk permits and activities (major energizations, large equipment testing, high pressure testing, )
    • Work with the Contractor/Vendor personnel and coordinate the close involvement and oversight on the plant completion, integrity checks and commissioning activities to ensure flawless and safe
    • Coordinate project execution/tie-in in the Brownfield environment to ensure that plant projects are implemented as per design, properly commissioned with as built document draft available in the shift without any information gap within the shift with regard to the new
    • Assist in the development of the commissioning, start up and shutdown plans and their execution as assigned by the Commissioning Shift Superintendent for effectiveness in plan implementation
    • Develop and review operations/commissioning, start up and shutdown procedures for Project scope, capturing lessons learnt and to enable continuous improvement in
    • Primary signatory for completions and P2A (Project to Asset) activities (handover of Care Custody and Control for systems & areas, post start-up operations testing)
    • Responsible for managing testing of major equipment through CSU (Commissioning & Start-Up) shift resources, vendors, and contactor resources (i.e. test run of GT, main compressors, large pumps, first fills, )
    • Responsible for early start-up and operation of utilities to support further CSU (Commissioning & Start-Up) activities (i.e. start-up of IA compressors, nitrogen units, water units,

    Education:

    • HND or Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or other engineering/science discipline.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 15 years working experience in oil and gas operations with at least 10 years’ experience in Plant
    • Operations as Principal Operator or at Supervisory
    • Experience with Commissioning and Startup of  Oil & Gas facility is considered a qualifying advantage
    • Experience in providing CSU (Commissioning & Start-Up) related design input and working in an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, And Construction) or a plant environment considered an advantage
    • Working experience on part of, or the entire, ORP (Operations Reference Plan) Project life cycle (from conceptual design through to final commissioning and handover) and/or in the front-line Oil and Gas production operations is desirable

    Project to Asset/Statement of Fitness Coordinator

    JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE

    Coordinate the Project to Asset Transition and manage the Verification Certificate of Readiness (VCRs) to enable a safe and bumpless continuation into the start-up activities.

    In parallel, there will be a newly developed organization that will be receiving the facilities and needs a bump-less transition from project to reliable operations.

    P2A requires influencing skills through dotted reporting lines and credibility is required against a variety of subjects to make maximum impact.

    MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Accountable for Project to Asset (P2A) and Statement of Fitness (SoF) program delivery across the project from FID to normal operations; customer and stakeholder management, planning, organization, resources, execution, assurance, close out and capturing of lessons learned.
    • Support the development of satellite documents in line with modern Project Standard guides related to P2A.
    • Prepare Statement of Fitness documentation for each completed systems and/or subsystems in line with the AIPSM (Asset Integrity Process Safety Management) standard and coordinate the closure and sign-off of each element, ensuring no gap exists before equipment, subsystem or system energization and startup.
    • Manage the register for the integrated commissioning activities and verify alignment & readiness of the preparations.
    • Develop and agree the content of the VCRs (Verification Certificate of Readiness), Asset Readiness and support/coach the Project and Asset contributors for timely readiness for sign-off at the milestone dates; support timely closure of qualifications
    • Track P2A actions and VCR progress for effective and timely closure and report to project and asset management.
    • Secure/coach resources with/for adequate P2A skills and competencies within each delivery and receiving party in order to enable them to deliver P2A in a timely manner and advise project leadership on the implications of shortfall in resources.
    • Coordinate and interface with the Asset (Existing Site) focal person in the implementation of the Asset Management System (AMS) components of Train 7 project scope using the existing platform.
    • Support the CSU team in their activities to ensure smooth execution of the integrated commissioning activities as the final project activities completion before facility start-up.
    • Liaise for support from P&T Operational Excellence group.

    Education:

    • HND or equivalent in chemical engineering or other engineering/science discipline.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in Oil and Gas Plant Commissioning & Start-Up planning and execution and Project to Asset Transition/Handover of Capital/Complex Project.
    • LNG Plant Project experience will be an added advantage
    • Incumbent needs to be an integrator with strong influencing skills and in-depth knowledge and overview of the applied project business processes.
    • Familiarity with Planning systems and an understanding of modern systematic CSU processes.
    • Excellent interpersonal & influencing skills, coaching staff often at senior organizational levels.
    • Change Management skills.
    • Experience in P2A execution is recommended.

    Project Risk Engineer

    PURPOSE & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    The purpose of the role is to support the Planning & Risk Lead and the project service leadership by providing project risk management expertise to deliver to the client the full benefits of pro-active project risk management & risk analysis for the successful delivery of the project as per FID promise.

    This role will work closely with both the contractor and the owner's team to facilitate the project risk management process across all disciplines and enable the flow of project risk information to the appropriate project stakeholders.

    The responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:

    • Maintain a risk management system: Sound understanding of and ability to apply both qualitative and quantitative risk management tools and techniques. Identify appropriate responsible parties for risk ownership and allocate register entries. Structure and populate the risk management tool, enable user training and implement the process for regular status reviews.
    • Perform a Probabilistic Cost & Schedule Risk Analysis. Build simplified project cost & schedule risk models, map the Technical, Economic, commercial, organizational, and political (TECOP) parameters and Opportunity/Risk Register entries to the model elements, and quantify these impacts into duration/cost ranges. Assess and establish appropriate probability distributions for each element. Analyze the model output and develop overview presentation material to explain the Cost Schedule & Risk Analysis output to Project Leadership and Review teams.
    • Develop overview reports of risk/opportunity status for management. Implement and manage risk management plans utilizing the Company’s risk management standards.
    • Maintain and manage risk registers. Present risk management status to the Project Leadership Team & generate monthly risk management reports.
    • Interface with project team members to discuss and challenge risk status and close out references.

     DIMENSION

    This is a megaproject.

    • Interface with multiple stakeholders, including contractors, the Project Leadership Team, the Asset team, and other possible Interfaces as required by the job role.

    Education

    • Bachelor's or master’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
    • Certification as a risk management professional is a plus.

    Experience.

    • 10+ years’ experience in a project risk engineering role in the oil and gas industry.
    • Experience in facilitating risk/opportunity brainstorming workshops.
    • Proven experience with Project Risk Management database tools, e.g., EasyRisk, ARM, etc. as well as Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis tools (Primavera Risk Analysis (PRA), @RISK, etc.)
    • In-depth understanding of Planning, Cost & Schedule Risk Analysis
    • Ability to work across international and cultural boundaries.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to interact with Senior Management levels
    • Excellent analytical, oral, and written communication skills
    • Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles. PMP certification is desirable, but not required.

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

    • Field experience in oil and gas, midstream or downstream, would be an advantage.
    • Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Other foreign languages are an additional advantage.
