    Digital Marketing Officer

    Overview:

    • As a Digital Marketing Officer at NCDF, you will be responsible for developing and executing digital marketing strategies to promote NCDF's brand, drive lead generation, and support the marketing efforts of our portfolio companies.
    • This role requires a creative and analytical mindset, with a strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, SEO, and content marketing.
    • You will collaborate closely with the marketing team, investment analysts, and portfolio companies to enhance our online presence and achieve business objectives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Digital Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation. Define clear objectives, target audiences, and KPIs for digital marketing campaigns aligned with NCDF's business goals.
    • Content Creation and Management: Create engaging and relevant content for NCDF's website, social media platforms, email newsletters, and other digital channels. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to produce high-quality content that resonates with our target audience.
    • Social Media Management: Manage NCDF's social media presence across various platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook. Develop content calendars, schedule posts, monitor engagement, and respond to comments and messages to foster community engagement and drive brand awareness.
    • Email Marketing: Plan, execute, and optimize email marketing campaigns to nurture leads, promote events, and share valuable content with subscribers. Segment email lists, create compelling email designs and copy, and analyze campaign performance to refine strategies and improve results.
    • Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Implement SEO best practices to improve NCDF's website visibility and rankings on search engines. Conduct keyword research, optimize website content, and monitor website performance using analytics tools to identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
    • Paid Advertising: Manage digital advertising campaigns across various platforms, including Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Facebook Ads. Develop targeting strategies, create ad creatives, set budgets, and optimize campaigns to maximize ROI and achieve marketing objectives.
    • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns using web analytics tools, social media analytics platforms, and email marketing software. Provide insights and recommendations based on data-driven analysis to inform future marketing strategies.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
    • Proven experience in digital marketing, with a focus on social media, email marketing, SEO, and content creation.
    • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, social media management tools, email marketing software, and SEO tools.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and engage with online audiences effectively.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing performance.
    • Creative thinker with a passion for staying updated on digital marketing trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience in the financial services industry or working with investment funds is a plus.

    Additional Information:

    • This is a full-time position based in Lagos, Nigeria, onsite.
    • Occasional travel may be required for meetings, events, or collaborations with portfolio companies.

    Go-to-Market Strategist

    Overview:

    • As a Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategist at NCDF, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategic initiatives to drive the successful launch and adoption of our portfolio companies' products and services.
    • Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will lead the development of comprehensive go-to-market strategies tailored to the Nigerian market.
    • This role requires a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for NCDF's portfolio companies, including new product launches, market expansions, and repositioning efforts. Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer segmentation to identify target markets and opportunities.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including investment analysts, marketing, sales, product development, and operations, to align go-to-market plans with overall business objectives. Ensure coordination and seamless execution of GTM strategies across all stakeholders.
    • Product Positioning and Messaging: Define clear product positioning, messaging, and value propositions that resonate with target audiences in the Nigerian market. Develop compelling content, sales collateral, and marketing materials to support go-to-market initiatives.
    • Sales Enablement: Develop sales enablement tools, training materials, and resources to empower sales teams with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively sell products or services. Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure sales readiness and effectiveness.
    • Go-to-Market Execution: Lead the execution of go-to-market plans, including campaign development, channel strategies, pricing, distribution, and promotional activities. Monitor and analyze performance metrics to measure the success of GTM initiatives and optimize strategies as needed.
    • Market Analysis and Insights: Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, regulatory changes, and customer preferences in Nigeria. Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and refine go-to-market strategies to capitalize on market opportunities.
    • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure the timely execution of go-to-market initiatives.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field; MBA preferred.
    • Proven experience in go-to-market strategy, product marketing, or related roles.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
    • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a focus on driving business outcomes.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Experience in the Nigerian market or the broader African market is highly desirable.
    • Proficiency in project management tools, CRM systems, and marketing automation platforms.

    Additional Information:

    • This is a full-time position based in Lagos, Nigeria, onsite.
    • Occasional travel within Nigeria may be required for customer meetings, industry events, or team collaborations.
