    Process Engineer

    Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

    • Developing, configuring, and optimizing industrial processes/equipment in conjunction with OEMs from inception through to start-up and commissioning.
    • Review Project Proposals and Detailed Designs packages for new facilities.
    • Develop and maintain the UR engineering standards and design best practices. Participate on the testing & commissioning of the new facilities and Turnaround and Inspection (T&I).
    • Update and maintain engineering documentation and drawings.
    • Analyze system performance and find solution for Energy saving
    • designing and optimizing the operation of equipment and facilities.
    • ensure the technical integrity of plants and new projects.
    • analyzing and interpreting laboratory and plant data.
    • Assessing processes, taking measurements, and interpreting data
    • Work as a member of the technical team to provide process engineering support for operations.
    • Provide technical advice / support to daily operational issues.
    • Perform unit optimization, troubleshooting, de-bottlenecking studies.
    • Lead/participate in safety initiatives including risk assessments and HAZOP reviews
    • Demonstrate safety leadership by personally meeting or exceeding the safety targets and initiatives set the gas processing plant and proposing new ideas for strengthening safety performance within the plant.
    • Provide process engineering and optimization support for the facility including energy and process improvement studies, relief system and relief device management, process monitoring and turnaround support.
    • Lead the development of continuous improvement and gap closure activities for the site, including energy improvement activities.
    • Effectively implement management of change (MOC) projects
    • Coordinate and participate in PHA studies and implement associated action items.
    • Lead/participate in incident investigations and other plant related activities.
    • Perform basic Process Engineering Design/Calculation
    • Responsible for complex coordination works on technical and plant related matters.
    • Manage plant information monitoring system.
    • Conduct test runs to optimize process variables and evaluate plant performance.
    • Provide process troubleshooting support, make technical recommendations, answer technical inquiries, improve process engineering tools, and develop process procedures.
    • Provide technical recommendations and engineering support during planned unit turnarounds.
    • Works in collaboration with specialists and engineers of other disciplines
    • Provide technical mentoring to unit engineers in Gas processing as a subject matter expert.
    • Provides requested technical advice and recommendations to project teams within the required time frames.
    • Provide support to and carry out studies (PHA, LOPA, AOS, DMI, Relief Systems, etc.) to improve plant safety, reliability, and economics.

    Required Qualifications

    Technical Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering or related discipline required.
    • 8+ Years Experience supporting major turnarounds and/or capital project, experience in gas processing plant/project will be an added advantage.
    • Experience with specifications and data sheets for Electrical equipment like EHV GIS/AIS Switchgear, Power
    • Transformers, large synchronous/induction motors, HV/LV Switchgears and Control gears, EHV/HV/LV Cables,Bus ducts, EHV GIBs, UPS, Battery Charger, NGR, Panel boards is a requirement
    • ability to work with design contractors to review contractor design packages, provide input to FEED packages, introduce new technology to enhance company productivity, suggest innovative solutions to optimize equipment performance, demonstrate safe working practices.
    • Knowledge and experience in Process Engineering in chemical, petrochemical, refining, complex process facilities.
    • Knowledge in Engineering and Process Safety
    • Awareness of Process Safety Management concepts and principles such as PHA, LOPA, AOA, IOWs etc.

    Electrical Engineer

    Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

    Project Management

    • Develop engineering conceptual plans for the new installation and upgrade projects including development of work scopes, calculations and detailed technical specifications.
    • Interface with multiple internal and external stakeholders: Operations field staff, Project Managers, peer SME’s, Supply Chain, Engineering Consultants, Vendors and Fabricators, Program owners, etc.
    • Coordinate the development of the project concept and leads the project from concept to detailed contract documents (Issued for Construction drawings and specifications), and through construction (contract administration) and commissioning.
    • Project management including cost and schedule tracking/reporting, stakeholder engagement and coordination of internal and external resources.
    • Project Engineer working closely with Electrical and Measurement Lead and Automation Advisor

    Projects Support

    • Provide discipline support to conceptual and development initiatives, liaise with both power utilities.
    • Provide discipline input in the project management documentation (Design Basis Memorandum, Project Execution Plan, Project Engineering Plan, VDDR (Vendor Drawing and Documentation Requirements), etc.)
    • Actively participate in constructability/operability reviews, use expertise to advise on design improvements when required.
    • Support facility commissioning and start-up and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR) as required (assist/approve acceptance testing, review field redlines and Contractor QA/QC packages and start-up procedures, etc.)
    • Participate in project execution planning (design reviews, model review, CWP (Construction Work Plan) development, etc.); Project execution includes design, procurement, acceptance testing, application integration, construction, and commissioning.
    • Participate in Facility design reviews.

    Operations Support

    • Provide technical guidance and support to Operations, Maintenance, Reliability and Facility Engineers.
    • Assist Facility personnel with troubleshooting, make recommendations that will improve and maintain plant efficiency, safety, and operations.

    Technical Deliverables

    • Participate in project meetings with Engineering Consultants, review/approve all discipline related EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) deliverables including Electrical Drawings, System Studies, PID’s, Control Narratives, 3D models, etc.
    • Complete, review third party Electrical drawing packages and calculations such as Area Classification, Single Line, Cable Schedule, Relay Protective Schemes (P&C), Arc Flash, Coordination Studies, Equipment Selections, etc.
    • Support Facility Engineers in the Management of Change (MOC) process – help generate Electrical scope, review, design, authenticate, validate throughout the execution phase.
    • Review (sometimes prepare – for MOC/small projects) Engineering work packages and provide construction/start-up support.

     Required Qualifications

    Technical Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline required.
    • 8+ Years relevant experience in facilities Electrical design, fabrication, construction, and commissioning/startup support in oil and gas industry, experience in gas processing plant/project will be an added advantage.
    • Experience with designing, specifying, and installing with familiarity towards commissioning of High & Medium Voltage switch gear, power systems protection and control selections, control systems integration, ASDs, PLC & DCS in Greenfield & Brownfield Environments is required.
    • Experience with development of site-specific procedures for electrical equipment
    • Relevant experience in front end project development.
    • Knowledge of Oil and Gas Codes, Standards and international best industry practices
    • Familiarity with various power applications (substations, utility services, off-grid generation)
