    Procurement Manager

    Job Description
    Procurement help desk and user administration services:

    • Process PR for approval in 8 hours turn-round time for non-specialized work.
    • Process PR for approval in 12 hours turn-round time for specialized work.
    • Send weekly update reports to the operations JCFM on status on PR progress.
    • Provide insights in procurement review and processes and user-guide as the need arises.
    • Follow and execute action plans to resolve problems with end users and suppliers with regards to the procuring of assets, and goods.

    Strategic Sourcing:

    • Select and recommend best qualified vendor for MP approval
    • Process Purchase Order based on procurement manager approval.
    • Review and update asset and inventory register
    • Carry out market survey to determine the best possible price for commodities while ensuring cost effectiveness commensurate with quality.
    • Prepare accurate records and documentation on all solicitations, responses, procurements, contracts, correspondence and related follow up.
    • Soliciting complaints and improvements from end users/clients
    • Assist to review and contribute to the update of the evaluation process.

    Inventory management:

    • Update inventory database, work on control and material management activities.
    • Follow inventory database procedures in carrying out inventory process.
    • Advise and recommend to MP for commonly purchased product or service for effective future planning.

    Requirements

    • A First Degree in Logisitics or Management or any other related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years experience
    • A procurement / Supply chain certification is an advantage.

    Field Production Superintendent

    Job Description

    • Produce operations strategies and plans to ensure that targets for the facility is met. Manage own work, scheduling, and planning activities to optimise production. Drive compliance with integrated asset plan and technical standards to enhance production efficiency.
    • Drive the Permit to Work (PTW) system to ensure all non- routine and potentially hazardous routine jobs are carried out under the Permit to Work system with complimentary certificates to ensure statutory compliance.
    • Coach and provide support to other Team members to ensure delivery of results and develop
    • subordinates. Identify further learning and development requirements to ensure continuous improvement in professionalism as part of human capital development.
    • Provide input to annual business plan. Generate and implement cost reduction initiatives as part of business improvement. Manage contracts/contractors in line with the Contract Management system.
    • Initiate changes to continuously improve oil/gas/water production and asset integrity as well as promoting a safe and healthy environment in line with company policies, procedures, and legislation
    • to improve the business and enhance production efficiency.
    • Communicate clearly and credibly when dealing with third parties (contractors, community, NUPRC, etc.) to build strong relationships. Build effective working relationship with other Support
    • Departments to improve production efficiency.
    • Accomplish daily hydrocarbon production targets through demonstration of technical knowledge,
    • skill, experience in operations activities and monitoring equipment for optimum production to improve production efficiency.
    • Monitor and ensure compliance of facility technical integrity. Ensure process equipment is available for maintenance through management of production programme to ensure technical integrity of the asset and production efficiency.
    • Manage and maintain an Emergency Response Team in each shift cycle for the area in compliance
    • with statutory and regulatory requirements to enhance safety of employees, environment, and equipment.
    • Manage the daily effluent discharge, emission and waste generated at the production facility with the goal of complying with statutory regulation and aiming to continuously reduce waste as part of business improvement.
    • Provide operations input to Engineering activities and projects to enhance production efficiency.
    • Meeting production targets with strict compliance to standard

    Key Requirements

    • A Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in an Engineering discipline, with the relevant professional certification
    • 8 – 12 years’ production operations experience with at least 3 years as a supervisor/ team lead
    • Good understanding of Industry best practices and production principles
    • Capability to manage complex technical facilities and have a clear grasp of the position of the asset from a business perspective.
    • Demonstrable experience in management of major emergencies related to process safety, medical, security and community action
