    Lead, Corporate Communications

    JOB SUMMARY

    Responsible for all corporate communications related activities and other tasks assigned. The role is tilted more towards dealing with external stakeholders and internal, on a needs basis.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • B.Sc. or HND in Communications, marketing, Business, New Media, Public relations or related field
    • A person with proven experience can be hired, although possessing a degree not in the above mentioned fields.
    • 5years and above in a similar role, preferably from a non – insurance industry
    • Certification from relevant Brand Management or Marketing Communications schools/courses
    • Membership of a professional body that regulates advertising and/or Marketing – APCON, CIM, NIPR
    • Understanding of all aspects of Brand Management and Corporate Communications
    • A clear understanding of how brands (within and outside the industry) operate
    • Top – notch communication and presentation skills
    • Understanding of stakeholder management
    • Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of external communication platforms and how each can be deployed in different scenarios
    • A knowledge of public relations and media management
    • Must write well and very clearly

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Identify key stakeholders, coordinating actions for all external engagement of a corporate comms nature
    • Ensures the execution of impactful media engagement strategies
    • Work with Team Lead to manage external special projects for the department and organization at large
    • Manages all relevant corporate image matters, for positive outcomes
    • Supervises the PR & Media executive on all deliveries related to the media, among others
    • Develop full year plan and comms strategy for the business
    • Manage outdoor, press, radio and similar campaigns with support from various team members
    • Generate strategy/plans for one off activities
    • Generate and manage other process documents, when assigned; SOP, etc
    • Actively participate in drawing up annual execution budget, in line with laid down guidelines
    • End to end planning of all external events, in line with all stakeholders required
    • Representation at external events, as assigned
    • Tracking of all sponsorship requests, directing them to the right channels for attention
    • Disbursement of creative materials for sponsorship activities, same if required for events
    • Ensuring all collaterals required at events are there and on time
    • Recommending sponsorships and events that can assist with business growth
    • Management of all new announcements on the Board with necessary team member
    • Management of board Profile building and requests for already built ones, as the case may be
    • Handling of information for external consumption from AGMs and similar events
    • Working with head BCC to put out relevant board related news internally, when required
    • Responsible for vetting generated press releases for the media
    • Responsible for generating business related articles for thought leadership purposes
    • Responsible for last line proof – reading of all reports and similar documents before it gets to Head, BCC Supports other team members with better copy positioning for assignments requiring writing.
    • Other proof – reading and editing tasks that may arise sits here
    • Compile monthly report for activities delivered for objective decision making by team
    • Analyze campaigns and translate data for recommendations
    • Generate quick plans to revise/update on-going and new campaigns
    • Set out effective benchmarks for measuring campaign and off campaign successes, across all (external) communication channels
    • Monthly reports to be shared with Head, BCC
    • Weekly updates will however be shared at the team meetings

    Motor Claims Officer

    JOB SUMMARY

    To verify the validity of claims reported in line with the policy terms and conditions; prompt processing of claims with a view to achieving customer satisfaction and retention

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Insurance/Law or related field.
    • Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience in an Insurance firm
    • Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN), Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), Progress to Associate would be an added advantage
    • Knowledge of motor insurance products and industry regulation and practices
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible for receiving all motor claims related notification by confirming the circumstance of loss and effectiveness of cover as at the time of loss
    • Registering claims on the software
    • Acknowledging claim notification within the stipulated time frame
    • Confirming the premium position as the time of loss
    • Following up with the Insured/Broker to ensure prompt documentation of the claim
    • Responsible for forwarding the substantiated documents to Inspection and Survey Unit for adjustment. Following up with Inspection and Survey Unit to ensure the file is returned within the stipulated time frame
    • Conveying our settlement offer and discharge voucher/repudiation to the insured/ broker
    • Following up with the insured/broker to ensure the discharge voucher is executed and returned promptly
    • Upon receipt of the executed discharge voucher, follow up with all relevant parties to ensure payment is made within the stipulate time frame
    • Notify Insured/Client of the payment and obtain acknowledgement
    • Registered the payment in the settled register and send to DMS for scanning and closure.
    • Ensuring all recoverable on salvage and third party (subrogation) are remitted and imputed on the software;
    • Responsible for claims recoveries from coinsurers.
    • Notify FINCON to confirm payment and issue receipt.
    • Calculate loss ratios and send recommendation for review of policy terms and conditions to Head Claims for review before communicating to the underwriting team
    • Prepare NAICOM reports for Paid and outstanding claims for the quarter under review
    • Prepare Auto crash report monthly
    • Prepare Bancassurance report monthly
    • Receives, documents and escalates complaint from internal and external customers in a bid to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
    • Send Service feedback forms to client and review responses with team lead
