    Senior Manager, Engineering(Ibadan)

    Job Description

    • Analyzing equipment failure trends and identifying areas for improvement.
    • Developing long-term strategies
    • Identifying opportunities for process improvements within the maintenance department.
    • Establishing relationships with suppliers and negotiating contracts to procure spare parts efficiently.
    • Identifying cost-saving opportunities through efficient resource allocation, vendor negotiations, and optimized maintenance practices.
    • Ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints while maintaining the necessary resources for effective maintenance operation
    • Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to maintenance activities, equipment performance, and repairs.
    • Collaborating with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimum disruption to production schedules.
    • Implementing predictive maintenance techniques and condition monitoring to optimize maintenance practices.
    • Conducting root cause analyses for equipment failures and implementing corrective and preventive measures.
    • Determining optimal inventory levels to minimize downtime and costs while ensuring availability of critical parts.

    Requirement

    • 12-15 Years of experience

    Fireman Assistant

    Responsible & Duties

    • Assist in the implementation of Health, Safety and Environment best practices in the unit.
    • Ensure the up-to-date servicing of fire extinguishers at all time.
    • Assist in the implementation and ensuring compliance of all HSE policies.

    Requirements/Skills/Qualifications

    • Possess HND or B.Sc. in any Social Science discipline.
    • HSE training and other related certification.
    • Minimum of 2 to 3 years cognate experience preferably on Electrical Safety, fire fighting and prevention.
    • Certification as emergency medical technicians (EMT) is preferred
    • Working knowledge of firefighting equipment and apparatus
    • Knowledge of first aid/CPR methods
    • A practical mind and problem-solving ability
    • Successful passing of firefighting exams (written, physical, psychological etc.)
    • Willingness to follow legal rules and guidelines and firefighting standards at all times
    • Great physical strength and stamina partnered with the ability to dress and move quickly
    • Patient and cool tempered with the ability to function in a team
