    Accounting Assistant -Nigerian Eagle Flour Mills Ltd

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    To coordinate payments and ensure that the bills payable are well checked, documented, approved, and paid correctly. Also to monitor and supervise workers’ activities on site.

     

    THE JOB

    • Manage and support the process of receiving vendors’ invoices and crosschecking necessary supporting documents.
    • Ensure adequate record keeping of all documents such as invoices information, management meetings, etc.
    • Carry out Processing/dispatching of cheques and payment of casual workers.
    • Supervise the planning and execution of special events such as depot meetings, employee recognition events, and distribution of packages e.g. monthly free issue.
    • Manage the process of monthly stock count exercise.
    • Coordinate all workers on site and make necessary reports to the management.
    • Serve as a liaison between the depot and other local law authorities such as Nigerian Port Authority.
    • Act as general administrative assistance to the Depot Manager.
    • Report all Quality and Food Safety Issues to the food safety team.
    • Report all FMN Lifesaving Rules Violation and Behavioral Based Safety to the safety department.

     

    THE PERSON MUST

    • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Be able to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
    • Possess the ability to adapt to changing situations and prioritize tasks.
    • Pay attention to details.

    QUALIFICATION

    • OND in Accounting, Business Administration and related discipline.
    • 5 O’ level credits including English & Mathematics in not more than 2 sittings.

    EXPERIENCE

    • Have at least 2 years experience in a similar role.

    National Route to Consumer Manager

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    Develop and execute route-to-market strategies at the national level, reporting directing to the Head of Sales. Closely collaborating with the sales, sales operations, consumer and customer marketing teams as well as our trade partners. Ultimately, this role contributes to the achievement of FMN's commercial business objectives for B2C.

    THE JOB

    • Develop and implement distributor development and route-to-market strategies in order to achieve commercial objectives and sales goals nationally.
    • Manage and lead the implementation of the agreed Route-to-Consumer (RTC) initiatives at regional level as defined by sales leadership.
    • Develop and maintain a dashboard for each National RTC initiative across regions and territories.
    • Establish an implementation plan for each agreed initiative and secure alignment from regional sales leadership.
    • Ensure that all retail redistribution operations are in line with the agreed SOP, taking corrective action where this is not the case.
    • Review and report on the competitive RTC landscape on a regular basis in order to ensure that FMN stays ahead of the curve across relevant channels and categories.
