    Field Operator (Field Operation Services)

    Brief Description

    • The primary role of FSO Field Operator is to operate and act as an area responsibility / authority for designated Process Operation and Utility systems and ensure that the systems are operated efficiently and safely. This includes completing routine operator interventions, routine patrols (ORD) and overall continuous monitoring of parameters in coordination with other Operating personnel and the Control Centre. Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the processes and equipment.
    • Responsible for carrying out process isolations. Ensures accurate and comprehensive running machinery log is maintained. Member of the FSO Emergency response team and ensures that he understands his responsibilities under the Emergency Response plan, especially when on duty during nightshift.
    • Responsible for startup, Operate, Monitor, Maintain and Shut Down Refrigeration and Liquefaction Systems and Utilities. Troubleshoot to resolve defects to ensure plant availability. Manage the liquid-free, inerting and aeration of the tanks and associated pipe work in order that the facility can be presented to the maintenance, construction or repair group or facility in a safe and acceptable condition in collaboration with the Cargo Supervisor

    Minimum Academic Requirements

    • Certification as a Ship’s Marine Engineer with relevant hydrocarbons experience preferably some time spent on a trading Gas Tankers.
    • MCA Engine Officer Certificate of Competency, or equivalent
    • Experience in oil/ gas tanker cargo and ballast operations, control of ESD and Fire and Gas systems and initiation of Emergency Response procedures.
    • Experience in Floating, production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessels would be advantageous
    • Petrochemical experience, demonstrate a Mechanical aptitude and have the ability to compile Technical Reports with associated Drawings as required, pertaining to Plant/Systems Operations
    • Training in Emergency Command and Control, supervisory experience and Oil and Gas production knowledge is desirable

    Minimum Experience Requirements:

    • Personnel should have minimum 5-years experience on large oil/gas production facilities offshore or Oil / Gas Tankers.

    Control Room Operator

    Brief Description

    • The CRO is responsible for manning the Control Centre and overall monitoring of the processes, operations, heading and stability of the FSO to ensure safe operations and vessel integrity at all times.
    • This involves loading, storage and ballasting/ de-ballasting operations in accordance with pre-arranged plans and safe operating practices.
    • Includes recognizing anomalies and performing corrective action as necessary and notifying the necessary parties such as the Field Operator, FSO Cargo Supervisor and/or external stakeholders. He is also responsible for FSO record-keeping, data logging and reporting, controlling and monitoring of FSO Operations and other relevant tasks.

    Minimum Academic Requirements
    Certification as a Ship’s Deck Officer with relevant hydrocarbons experience preferably some time spent on a trading Oil Tanker.

    • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields
    • MCA Deck Officer Certificate of Competency, or equivalent
    • Relevant experience should include centralized control room operations.
    • Experience in oil / gas tanker cargo and ballast operations, control of ESD and Fire and Gas systems and initiation of Control Room Emergency Response procedures.
    • Experience in Floating, production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessels would be advantageous.
    • Training in Emergency Command and Control, supervisory experience and Oil and Gas production knowledge is desirable

    • Demonstrate a proactive, flexible, and positive attitude. Share knowledge freely with others to ensure best practices

    Deck Foreman (Deck Foreman Services)

    Brief Description

    • The primary role of FSO Deck Foreman is to coordinate FSO Deck Operations for safe, optimum, efficient, and incident-free operations. This includes completing routine operator intervention, and overall continuous liaison with the FSO Cargo Supervisor.
    • Additionally, the Deck Foreman coordinates and maintains an overview of all operations on the vessel deck and machinery space safely and effectively. The Operations Foreman has the authority to delegate certain tasks to the Operation Assistants/ Mooring Technician as appropriate to their experience and competencies. He remains responsible for the delegated tasks. He may act as instructed on behalf of the Cargo Supervisor for deck operational tasks.
    • Key duties include:
    • Supervise/provide oversight to Operation assistants in carrying out deck maintenance, rigging, slinging, lifting and export related operations, including material and personnel transfer to/from Offshore Support Vessel. (OSV). Also responsible for carrying out Signal Man duties for Crane Operations.
    • Maintains inventory of all loose lifting gears and issues for use to the Facility personnel in accordance with the job scope under the PTW System. Maintains the rigging equipment register as part of the rigging loft.
    • Assists in planning and execution of all aspects of cargo operation on deck i.e. assisting in loading/discharging of LPG including safety watch keeping on deck during offloading operations, deploying and recovery of export hose, deploying and recovery mooring hawser, cargo sampling and the associated maintenance of cargo equipment.
    • Liaises with the Cargo Supervisor and coordinates the deck crew in the following:
    • Corrosion control including needle gunning, chipping with hand tools, painting etc.
    • Tank operations including tank entry, cleaning, removal of scale, valves, pipework etc.

    Minimum Academic Requirements

    • Able Seaman or Equivalent.

    Minimum Experience Requirements

    • Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years experience on large oil/gas production facilities offshore and onshore or preferably ships.
    • Candidate Should have the skills necessary to perform the following roles.
    • Helideck Fireman
    • Certified Gas Tester
    • Class ‘A’ Crane Operator and Signal Man
    • Life-Saving Appliances and Fire Fighting Appliances inspection and maintenance (Including Lifeboat Inspection and Maintenance)
    • Rescue Team Leader

    Gas Plant Operator (Gas Plant Operation Services)

    Job Functions

    • Operates and monitors gas plant equipment under supervision. Takes field readings and makes routine inspection (ORDs).
    • Able to perform first-line maintenance and ODR functions such as replacement of pressure gauges, greasing of pump motors, replacement of oil in small rotating equipment like motors, cleaning and replacement of Turbine air intake filters, topping up equipment oil levels, test run Fire Water Pumps, routine switching between running and standby equipment and / or air compressor, topping up hot oil system and methanol storage, etc.
    • Assists in the operation of complex equipment such as the Sales Gas Turbine Compressors, Fired Heaters, Turbo-Expander. Under the direction of experienced Operators, assists to carry out lining up, isolating, starting-up and shutting-down this type of equipment.
    • Assists in safety checks such as shut down system testing. Performs routine checks such as LO/LC valve status, MCC switch gear status, Fire Monitor testing, safety equipment inspection etc.
    • Operates the DCS system during routine operations under the direct supervision of an experienced Console Operator.
    • Maintains housekeeping in assigned area to promote a safe working environment.
    • Processes daily work permits for maintenance and other support work groups and fulfill role of Facility Site Reps to ensure work site is safe to work.
    • Observe HSE and OE regulations. Reports and or corrects any conditions and or practices out of compliance.
    • Knowledge and demonstration of basic use of hand tools, piping and fittings, tubing, wrenches, etc.
    • Should understand and be familiar with Safe Work Practices, OE Tenets, PTW process and basic PFD.
    • Know and follow plant PPE requirements, including hearing protection, eye protection and trained on the use of SCBA.

    Qualifications

    • Recommended minimum entry qualification is OND or equivalent in Engineering or Sciences.
    • Must have at least 5 years experience.
    • Knowledge in oil and gas operations will be required.
    • Experience in gas plant operations will be an additional advantage
