    The Grant, Partnerships, and International Linkages Expert

    Job Summary:

    The Grant, Partnerships, and International Linkages Expert will be responsible for developing and managing grant programs, fostering partnerships with external stakeholders, and establishing international linkages to support the organization's goals and objectives. The role requires strong project management skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to cultivate relationships with donors, partners, and other stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in other languages, particularly French is desirable a plus
    • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

     Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., international development, business administration, social sciences). Master's degree preferred.
    • Proven experience in grant writing, fundraising, and project management, preferably in the nonprofit sector or international development context.
    • Strong understanding of donor requirements, grant compliance, and reporting procedures.
    • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and concepts in writing and verbally.
    • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including donors, partners, and government agencies.

    Health Financing Expert/Health Economist

    Job Summary:

    Sydani Group is seeking a seasoned health financing expert/health economist to lead a multiyear health financing project. This position is critical in providing technical support to national and state government agencies responsible for implementing the Basic Healthcare Provision Fund (BHCPF). The technical lead will lead health financing project deliverables, cultivate stakeholder relationships, and ensure fulfillment of project objectives.

    Competencies:

    • Proven ability to lead and manage a team, including providing technical guidance and mentorship.
    • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in quantitative and qualitative data analysis tools.
    • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong stakeholder management, advocacy, and communication skills.
    • Experience working with government agencies, NGOs, and other development partners.

    Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate technical support to the government to strengthen Monitoring, Learning and Evaluation of the BHCPF.
    • Develop and implement strategies for stakeholder engagement, including government agencies, implementing partners, and beneficiaries.
    • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the MLE team on health financing.
    • Analyze data and translate findings into clear and concise reports and presentations.
    • Contribute to the development of recommendations for improving the digitization of M&E for the BHCPF.
    • Manage and monitor program budgets related to the health financing component.
    • Develop proposals and concepts for other health financing projects in the organization.
    • Communicate complex technical information to diverse audiences, including serving as thought leader on health financing issues at Sydani.

    Qualifications:

    • Master’s degree in health economics, Public Health, Health Policy, or related field.
    • Minimum of 7 years of progressive work experience in health financing in Africa, with a significant focus on direct facility financing and supporting health insurance programs.
    • Demonstrated experience with the BHCPF or similar direct facility financing mechanisms is an added advantage.
    • Strong understanding of M&E principles and methodologies, with a focus on applying them to digitized systems.
    • Experience in designing and conducting data analysis related to health financing programs.

     The Immunization Project aims to increase immunization coverage and equity, improve vaccine delivery systems, and strengthen immunization policies and strategies.

    Job Summary:

    The Research and Learning Consultant will support the design, implementation, and evaluation of research and learning activities under the Immunization Project. The role involves conducting research, synthesizing evidence, facilitating knowledge exchange, and contributing to learning agendas to inform project strategies and interventions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    •  Design and implement research studies and evaluations to generate evidence on immunization-related issues, including vaccine coverage, access, acceptability, and equity, in collaboration with project partners and stakeholders.
    •  Develop research protocols, data collection tools, and analysis plans, and ensure adherence to ethical guidelines and standards throughout the research process.
    •  Collect, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data using appropriate research methodologies and statistical analysis techniques, and prepare reports, presentations, and publications to disseminate research findings.
    •  Facilitate learning events, workshops, and webinars to share research findings and promote knowledge exchange among project stakeholders, including government agencies, healthcare providers, community organizations, and other partners.
