Job Description

• We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teacher with a strong interest in special needs and inclusive education to join our team in Ife, Nigeria.
• The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating an inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive and succeed regardless of their abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of all students in the classroom.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to support the holistic development of students.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes acceptance, respect, and understanding.
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies to ensure optimal learning outcomes.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices in special needs and inclusive education.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field.
• Certification in Special Education is highly desirable.
• Previous experience working with students with special needs is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of inclusive teaching strategies and accommodations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to teaching.
• Must be based in Ife or willing to commute to Ife for teaching assignments.
