    Internal Auditor

    Job Description

    • Ensuring that bank policies were adhere to the processes.
    • Ensure the regulatory policy is adhered to while the bank is doing business.
    • Ensure pre & post disbursement checks.
    • Cut wastage and ensure profitability on expenses and advances.
    • Carry out spot checks anytime and anywhere in the processes.
    • Carry out daily vault & teller administration.
    • Perform second level call over.
    • Consistently carry out internal audit as per the internal audit calendar for the financial year whereas so much emphasis is laid on unit, departmentexpose to risk on the business,
    • Hence, drawing up recommendations to proactively mitigate the exposure to risk.
    • Rendering regulatory returns like AML/CFT, NDIC, CBN, ANTI –TERRORISM, COMPLIANCE, KYC and returns on fraud and forgeries to regulatory bodies.
    • Sign off Month end registers (Accounts opening, pass book issuing, pass book control/ maintenance, FD certificate, Main door key control, Promotional item, log book for security, voucher bundle, insurance claim/ Policy issued, documents handling over, pawning stock control registers)
    • Ensuring loan monitoring and further advise the bank on its status on its PAR, LIQUIDITY, RATIO CAR etc. to ensuring way and manner per loan officer/branch to stopping loan and drive recovery or to continue doing business.
    • Performing field audit on loans on default to ascertaining the major reason while they are in that status thereby gathering intelligence from the market space.
    • Ensuring Bank reconciliations via general ledgers and bank statements
    • Attend to additional official duties which is not mentioned above and assigned by the management time to time, in line with the business, procedures, policies, guidelines and practices of the Company.
    • Safeguard the confidentiality of all information pertaining to Company and the Organization obtained externally or internally during the course of employment and refrain from divulging same to any third party.
    • Assisting all Sales staff

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification with 2 - 5 years work experience.
