• The Head, Non-Core Application Support is responsible for managing the resolution of application and system issues that arise across a business. Responding to technical problems that occur abruptly and require immediate solutions

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Develops requirements specifications, technical documentation, and user manuals for new and existing software systems
• Possessing specialist knowledge of operating systems, devices, applications and software
• Providing technical support to teams within the organization, and to external clients when required
• Assisting with systems integrations
• Maintaining and updating technical documents and procedures
• Identifying and resolving technical issues
• Delivering regular and customized training to teams within the business
• Preparing maintenance plans and upgrading schedules for the organization’s systems
• Developing reports for teams across the business

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering / Development or any other related field
• Minimum of 4 years support of Applications and Service management. Experience in managing ERP and Jira applications and other web applications. Substantial development experience in C#, .NET, Node, PHP, Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL.
