    Finance Manager

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
    • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
    • Manage the financial planning process, including forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning.
    • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, including financial statements, budget variance analysis, and cash flow projections and all donor reporting requirements.
    • Manage the organization's cash flow and ensure adequate funding is available to meet operational needs.
    • Collaborate with program teams to ensure financial goals are aligned with overall program objectives.
    • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify areas for improvement and develop and implement strategies to achieve financial goals.
    • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial service providers.
    • Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure their continued professional development.

    Requirements and Qualification

    • Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACCA, ACA), A Master's Degree with a minimum of 8 years’ experience and four years in a managerial position
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, financial analysis, and budgeting.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Skills in procurement, budgeting and donor reporting.
    • Proficiency in the use of SAGE 50, Excel and Quickbooks and other accounting software.
    • Experience working with non-profit organizations and knowledge of donor regulations.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
