    Events Project Manager

    Job Summary

    • The Events Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of event planning and execution. This includes managing budgets, coordinating vendors, overseeing event logistics, and ensuring successful delivery of high-quality events that meet or exceed client expectations. The Events Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients and acts as the leader of the events team.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage the full lifecycle of events, from initial concept development through post-event analysis and reporting.
    • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their event objectives, target audience, and desired outcomes
    • Develop comprehensive event plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
    • Oversee the procurement and management of all vendors, including venues, catering, entertainment, audio/visual, and other suppliers
    • Coordinate and lead the events team, delegating tasks and responsibilities as needed
    • Identify and mitigate potential risks, and develop contingency plans to address any issues that may arise
    • Oversee the creation and distribution of all event-related collateral, including invitations, agendas, signage, and marketing materials
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, permits, and insurance requirements
    • Provide regular progress updates to clients and stakeholders, and gather feedback to continuously improve event planning and delivery
    • Analyze event data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for future events

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in event planning and project management
    • Proven track record of successfully executing large-scale, complex events
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client-facing skills
    • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
    • Proficient in project management software, budgeting tools, and event planning platforms
    • Knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the events space
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
    • Strong leadership and team management skills

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in event management or a related field
    • Industry-recognized certifications, such as Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) or Certified Event Designer (CED)
    • Experience in a specific event sector (e.g., corporate, nonprofit, social, etc.)
    • Familiarity with event marketing and promotion strategies
