    Community Relations Intern

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in developing and implementing community outreach initiatives, events, and programs that align with the company's mission and values.
    • Research and identify potential community partners and stakeholders, and establish relationships with them.
    • Coordinate meetings with community members and stakeholders to discuss partnerships and collaboration opportunities.
    • Assist in creating content for community outreach materials, such as flyers, brochures, and social media posts.
    • Help to organize and execute upcoming conference and community events and activities, including logistics, outreach, and communication.
    • Support the team in managing the end-to-end event management software system.
    • Assist in tracking and reporting community engagement metrics, such as attendance, participation, and feedback.
    • Support the Community Relations team on other tasks and projects as needed.

    Requirements:

    • Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field
    • Strong relationship-building capabilities with a passion for community engagement and social impact
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Work effectively with diverse groups of people
    • Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation tools
    • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
    • Come up with novel solutions to foster community participation and engagement
    • Keep abreast of emerging community practices
    • Strong flair for learning agility
    • Must be able to commit to a minimum of 3-4 hours per day for six months.
