    Brand Manager

    Responsibilities

    • Identifies opportunities, leads the innovation process, develops and implements innovations delivering the targeted Gross Margins following the StageGate Methodology.
    • Develops a rolling Innovation Glide Path of 36 months.
    • Develop deep, actionable consumer insights (wrt.. to the Category) along with the CMI team & R&D Chef
    • Work with the Marketing Manager to develop a consumer resonant Brand Architecture and Brand Lighthouse (Positioning).
    • Manage the development of pack designs.
    • Help develop consumer validated winning communication for the brands.
    • Develop platforms for consumer (& trade activations).
    • Based on sound consumer insight and strategy defined by the business, prepare 360 degree plans (across touchpoints) to generate demand for the brands launched and achieve penetration, market share targets
    • Appropriate pricing and trade margins
    • Consumer Communication Plan .
    • Consumer Activation Plan (incl platforms for consumer and trade activation).
    • Develop and implement best in class launches (planning & execution) for NPD.
    • Maintain Equity Guardrails; Ensure consistency of communication and adherence to the Brand Lighthouse in various touchpoints by all.
    • Ensure execution of brand plans on time and budget.
    • Monitor, analyse and report brand/ category performance.
    • Management of external agencies (creative, research, media, BTL) to deliver the best output and ontime execution.
    • Have a close pulse on consumer trends, competitive activity, category developments and sales information.
    • Understand how consumers assimilate media  Implement efficient media planning & buying.
    • With support from CMI & Chef, ensure effective management of internal and external research projects using the right tools and techniques.
    • Help with Trade Marketing Requirements at/ post launch.
    • Responsible for developing and launching new products/ brands by scoping out opportunities and ensuring Top Line and Gross Margin delivery.

    Requirements

    • Degree from a good University
    • Job experience: 4 years minimum experience in Brand Management.
    • Marketing Technical (including Digital) Skills.
    • Sales & Basic Finance Skills.
