Job Description

• The Application Support Officer is responsible for managing the resolution of application and system issues that arise across a business.
• Responding to technical problems that occur abruptly and require immediate solutions.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Reviews and evaluates reports to ensure they are error-free and internal and external transactions are properly matched.
• Possessing specialist knowledge of operating systems, devices, applications and software
• Providing technical support to teams within the organization, and to external clients when required
• Assisting with systems integrations
• Maintaining and updating technical documents and procedures
• Identifying and resolving technical issues
• Delivering regular and customized training to team within the business
• Preparing maintenance plans and upgrading schedules for the organization’s systems
• Developing reports for teams across the business

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering / Development or any other related field
• Minimum of 3 years support core desktop and web applications in Java, C#, NET, Node, PHP, Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL.
