Asst. Technician, Tool Shop at HUPE Nigeria Limited

Description

• Keeping inventory of all tools
• Issuing of tool and ensuring that they are returned back to store after use
• Ordering of tools for replenishment of tools stock
• Keeping track of damaged or worn out tools
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment for Tool Setup
• Coordinate tool testing and evaluation with suppliers
• Review periodically tool cost and efficiencies

Requirements

• Interested candidate should possess OND certificate
• 3 - 9 years of experience can apply.
• Three years of CNC machining, machine shop experience
• Engineering drawing and blueprint reading ability is required
• Detail oriented, accurate,and thorough
• Proficient in database use
• Work well with others under pressure
• Demonstrate Good Problem solving Skills
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to write quality tags and make detailed notes in communication logs
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
