    Junior Accountant

    • Responsibilities
    • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
    • Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
    • Creating procedures and policies that ensure timely payments while maintaining a high level of customer retention
    • Liaising with customers, as well as internal personnel including the sales team
    • Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
    • Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
    • Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
    • Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
    • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
    • Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
    • Assist with other accounting projects across East and West Africa 
    • Reconciliation of Withholding Tax deducted with Withholding Tax remitted by client

    Requirements 

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance or Equivalent experience 
    • Minimum of 5 years in software engineering/ software development 
    • Member of ICAN on Skill Level
    • Experience in code reviews
    • Proven experience as a junior accountant
    • Excellent organizing abilities
    • Great attention to detail
    • Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen 
    • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices 
    • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel is compulsory) and familiarity with relevant accounting

    Frontend / Backend Developer

    Responsibilities

    • Researching, designing, implementing, and managing software 
    • Testing and evaluating new programs
    • Creating and implementing design plans
    • Identifying areas for modifications in existing program and subsequently developing these modifications writing and implementing efficient code
    • Working closely with other developers,UX designer's, business and systems analysts
    • Implement robust security and firewalls with the coding and framework to ensure applications or software meets with today and tomorrow's challenges
    • Reviewing current systems for bugs, loopholes, security challenges and system flaws
    • comply with projects plan and industry standard.
    • Testing software in controlled, real situations before it goes live
    • Implementing good software engineering practices in languages such as Java, Python, C++, Php, Nodes
    • Training , mentoring and guiding junior developers 
    • Tickets assessment and code review participation

    Requirements 

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer science or Equivalent experience 
    • Minimum of 5 years in software engineering/ software development 
    • highly skilled with Git, github
    • Experience in code reviews
    • Experience in security implementation during code development.
    • Experience in other languages likes Nodes, Python, JS.

    Requirements

    • A minimum of Bachelor's degree in human Resource 
    • At least 5-8 years experience in HR
    • A minimum of 5years of experience in an Indian company 
    • Experience in dealing with unionized sector 
    • Thorough knowledge of payrolls and system 
    • Experience in local language-HAUSA
