The United Nations Development Programme on behalf of UNODC wishes to invite highly qualified Computer/IT Trainers for the conduct of Basic Computer Training for Justice Sector officials. Under its capacity building component, the project will enhance the skills of investigators and prosecutors in order to improve their operational competence. As part of this effort, the project will strengthen the research and IT capacity of criminal justice officials through a comprehensive training programme in Lagos, Osun, Anambra, Imo and Katsina States respectively.
UNDP is interested in engaging the services of an IT company with the facilities, as well as capable, certified, experienced and qualified trainers to implement basic computer training sessions for criminal justice officials (Ministries of Justice, Police, Prisons and the Judiciaries) of Lagos and Osun States.
Scope of Work
The contractor would conduct basic IT training for officers in the Ministries of Justice, Police Commands, Prison Service and Judiciaries in those States.
This would be a separate 5-day training session for officials of each of these criminal justice institutions (Ministries of Justice, Police, Prisons and the Judiciaries) in the States.
The total number of participants to be trained in each State would be ninety.
The contractor would assume full responsibility for the organization of the training sessions, including making arrangements for the venues forthe training sessions.
The contractor would also be responsible for all the catering services - tea break and lunch at all the training sessions.
