  • Society for Family Health (SFH) was incorporated in 1985 and is one of the foremost Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), that provide support to the Nigerian government in key areas of public health: my &AIDS prevention, family planning and maternal & child health (malaria, water miasanitation, and diarrhoea control). SFH works with the media to promote behaviour change and healthy lifestyles:

    SFH was appointed a Principal Recipient (PR) for the HIV grant, for the private sector component of the New Funding Model (NFM) from the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM). SFH as it PR is responsible tor the Prevention component of the Grant.

    Objective of service: Supply of sundry automobile vehicles to SFH for use by the Global Fund H IV. Project. In line with achieving the major objective for this mission, SF}] invites interested and reputable companies to express interest for the supply and delivery of automobile vehicles under the listed Lot components (below):

    How to Register

    LOT 1 : Eleven (ll ) units only 4-Wheel drive (4WD) pickup units
    LOT 2 : Two (2) units only 4-Wheel drive (4WD) full size SUV Wagon units

    All the vehicles are to be delivered in SFH Head office Abuja at 8 Port Harcourt Crescent, Ojf Gimbiya Street, Area 11, Garki, Abuja.
    Companies are free to express Interest for any or all of the above listed lots.
    Potential suppliers will be required to meet all the Prequalification/Eligibilitycrireria
    listed below to qualify for the next stage ofthe process.

    Prequalification/Eligibility Criteria
    To be eligible for consideration. -interested organisations must provide evidence of:
    Execution of similar job(s) in the past.
    Tax payment within the jurisdiction the company is located, for the past 3 consecutive years (i.e. 2012. 2013 & 2014):'
    Accreditation as a licensed dealer of vehicle offered.
    Ability to provide full manufacturer's warranty,in Nigeria. for vehicles offered.
    Sales offices and 'Workshops guaranteed by vehicle manufacturer in at least 5 of Nigeria's geo political zones.
    Documented capacity to provide after sales support for the vehicles offered,
    Availability of service and replacement parts within the support workshops and else where in-country.

    Prequalitication Process ;.
    A techn ical panel will review the submitted prequalification documents.
    At this stage. a 'yes' (represented by a score 01''1') or 'no' (represented by a score of 'O' qualifier will be used to rate all the points above. and companies with a 'yes' response against all the points above will be considered for the commercial. bid stage.

    All costs incurred by bidders as a result of this process and any subsequent requests for information shall be borne by the bidding organizations.

    Submission of Application/Closing Date:
    One envelope containing two (2) copies of the completed Pre-qualification submissions (in hard copies) must be sealed and clearly marked "GFHIV VEHICLES/SFH-16" on the top right corner of the outer envelope (the Lot(s) being quoted for should also be boldly written on the envelope
    If the envelope is not sealed and marked as required. SFIJ will assume no responsibility for the rnisplacement, or premature opening of the submissions; and this may constitute grounds for declaring the submission non-responsive.
