Our client is one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies, specialising in the discovery, development, manufacturing and marketing of medicines.  They are currently seeking an experienced Marketing Lead to be based in Lagos; leading a team of marketing professionals and supporting the total product portfolio across a specific region.

Details of the role:

•     This is a new role where the successful candidate will deliver brand revenue, develop operational plans, provide local insights and ensure excellent execution of plans in market
•     Work with senior leadership in country and region including, Country Manager and Commercial Leads
•     Fully responsible for financial accountability, Country Portfolio Managers, revenue, IBA and expense targets for a defined portfolio within the region
•     An international role covering a specific region within the African market

Desired Skills and Experience:

•     Senior level marketing experience from a global Pharmaceutical company
•     Experience leading a regional team
•     Bachelors degree, Masters degree, MBA
•     Demonstrates a high level of business acumen
•     Ability to build effective teams
•     Demonstrate key commercial and marketing competencies , including marketing execution and matrix leadership
