    Marketing and Communications Manager (Rack Centre)

    Job Description
    The Marketing and Communications Manager is a holistic communications and branding professional who will create and manage compelling marketing and communications content and help drive marketing communications initiatives for Rack Centre in Nigeria and West Africa.

    The Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for developing and subsequently managing projects end-to-end and developing marketing communications across a wide variety of platforms and media touch points such as social media, corporate websites, forums, blogs, contributed content, eDM’s, infographics, web videos, presentations, as well as traditional PR functions such as press releases. This is a strategic and hands-on function that requires proven project management, holistic communications, brand and logo management, campaign development, and content writing skills of exceptional quality. The role is the custodian of the Rack Centre brand based on best practice, and will play a central role in selecting and on-going management of external communications and branding partners

    Desired Skills and Experience

    •     Experience in a multi-national environment is preferred with the relevant experience in developing marketing and communications plans and multi-phase programmes across multiple geographies.
    •     Data Centre and/or IT Services B2B experience ideal but not required.
    •     Proven track record in partner and alliance marketing.
    •     Proven experience in developing and driving executive awareness and interactions, partner campaigns, value propositions and sales enablement programs into partner organizations.
    •     Articulate and succinct communication skills; ability to explain complex ideas effectively and simply.
    •     Multi-cultural strength and competent in dealing across geographies, languages and cultures.
    •     Enjoy working with people and willingness to ‘walk the corridors’ of partner organizations to build relationships.
    •     Strong analytical, organizational, presentation, and leadership skills.
    •     Strong project management skills and an ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines simultaneously.
    •     Exceptional influencing and leadership skills.
    •     Strong team-working ethos and excellent collaboration skills.
    •     Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    •     Attention to detail but should be able to be the big picture thinker.
    •     Experience with relevant tools: MS Office, including PowerPoint, Adobe.
