A not- for- profit organization based   is currently recruiting   for the post of a Communication Officer (female) to be based in Lagos. Candidates must pose a minimum of first degree and 4 years of work experience in a leading national newspaper. Knowledge of Digital media will be added advantage

Responsibilities

• Work with Head of Campaigns to develop communication strategies on campaign issues
• Write, edit, and distribute contents, including publications, press releases, articles, website contents, project reports, annual reports, speeches, and other materials on the organization's activities.
• Respond to media inquiries, arrange interviews for organization leaders, and act as a spokesperson for the organization.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with journalists, media organizations and maintain media database.
• Monitor and keep records of media coverage and collate analytics and metrics.
• Work with the digital media team to boost the organization's social media presence
• Monitoring  and analyses public opinion on campaign issues
