    Human Resource & Admin Manager

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Document management and administration.
    • Responsible for managing the procurement of stationery, office equipment and other office consumables by closely monitoring re-order level
    • Develops and institutes a robust filing system required to facilitate quick and easy data/information referencing and retrieval.
    • Ensures the maintenance of the office structural facilities and fleet
    • Liaises with travel agents (international and domestic) to facilitate travel arrangements for members of staff.
    • Ensures proper management of relationships with suppliers and other third party service providers.
    • Supervises all activities pertaining to outsourced functions
    • Provides intermediate Administrative and Secretarial support when necessary or as directed by the MD and COO
    • Defines, executes and implements human resources (HR) policies and provides support in setting standards.
    • Positions HRM unit as a strategic business partner in decision making.
    • Performs adequate manpower planning.
    • Overall direction setting of training and development needs for members of staff.
    • Guides and champions career development.
    • Manages compensation and benefits administration including payroll processing.
    • Manages employee performance by organising performance development review/appraisals on quarterly and/or bi-annual basis
    • Develops strategies and frameworks for managing the entire workforce.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • A good university degree in any discipline, preferably Social Sciences
    • Relevant professional Qualifications of regulatory bodies like CIPMN, SHRM, CIPD etc.
    • A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in human resources/personnel management/administrative functions in a reputable organization.
    • Postgraduate qualifications like MBA would be an added advantage.
    • Excellent knowledge of Nigerian Labour Law

    • Should be conversant with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word
    • Ability to multi-task in an efficient manner
    • Project Execution/Management
    • Good understanding of strategic HR issues.
