    Fleet Supervisor

    Reporting to: Operations Manager

    Salary: 90,000.00 – 100,000.00 monthly

    Responsibilities

    • Drive day-to-day process flow of all fleet operations with focus on excellent execution of Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Supervision of fleet maintenance (preventive, routine and corrective repairs) to avoid business disruption.
    • Test and close-off repair jobs to ensure repairs are satisfactory before final payments are made to 3rd party Suppliers.
    • Ensure back up vehicles are available for routine maintenance and other down time.
    • Ensure field safety culture amongst every driver, ensure best practice in Company safety standards.
    • Regularly review systems/procedures to improve operations and efficiency within the business unit.
    • Coordinate all off-site breakdowns.   
    • Ensure all Company’s vehicles carry all legally required documents
    • Drive all vehicle incident/accident investigations
    • Monitor, analyse and report service levels, Customer feedback and regularly interpret Customer satisfaction surveys to drive excellence.
    • Liaise with and maintain good working relationships with transport Authorities (LASTMA, VIO, FRSC, etc.).
    • Ensure all vehicle data/records are kept and up to date
    • Strictly monitor and track all company fleet and know their position at any given time
    • Define the strategy for effective daily running of future fleet and Operations.
    • Compare supplier prices to achieve more favorable buying terms in every company procurement. 
    • Pay attention and handle escalations affecting key operations to ensure prompt resolution.
    • Keep abreast of Government regulations as it relates to the Transport Sector

    Requirements

    • Educational Qualification: HND (Upper Credit) or BSC (2.2) in a Logistics Management related course, Geography, Social Science, Business Management or Supply Chain related field.
    • Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience
    • A relevant professional certification will be an added advantage.
