    Administrative Officer, Orthopeadics

    Job Responsibilities

    • Arrange travel and accommodations.
    • Preparing month/quarterly/midyear annual reports Statistics for the Department of Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery.
    • Vetting and following up monthly bills
    • Attending Monthly orthopaedic meetings, taking minutes, handle tasks and send mails related to Orthopedic Department.
    • Verifying work done by staff of each unit under the orthopaedic department and processing incentives for staff under these units
    • Handling of logistics: appointments, meetings and office maintenance etc.
    • Managing diaries and organizing meetings and appointments.
    • Receiving, review and forwarding of correspondence.
    • Preparing and dispatching of Medical reports.
    • Drafting of letters and memos
    • Keeping files/Records
    • Monthly requisitions for the Orthopaedics Unit
    • Managing databases and filing systems.
    • Implementing and maintaining procedures/administrative systems.
    • Collating and filing expenses.
    • MDCN yearly renewal of license.

    Person's Specification

    • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration
    • Master’s Degree preferred
    • Candidates must possess NYSC discharge Certificate or Exemption letter.
    • Proficient with Healthcare Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite
    • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
    • Highly motivated team player willing to go the extra mile
    • Proven work experience as an Administrative Officer, Administrator or similar role
    • Solid knowledge of office procedures
    • Strong organization skills with a problem-solving attitude
    • Attention to detail.

    Pharmacist

    Job Responsibilities

    • Prepares medications by reviewing and interpreting physician orders; detecting therapeutic incompatibilities.
    • Dispenses medications by compounding, packaging, and labelling pharmaceuticals.
    • Controls medications by monitoring drug therapies; advising interventions.
    • Completes pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians' work flow; verifying their preparation and labelling of pharmaceuticals; verifying order entries, charges, and inspections.
    • Provides pharmacological information by answering questions and requests of health care professionals; counselling patients on drug therapies.
    • Develops hospital staff's pharmacological knowledge by participating in clinical programs; training pharmacy staff, students, interns, externs, residents, and health care professionals.
    • Complies with state and federal drug laws as regulated by the state board of pharmacy, the drug enforcement administration, and the food and drug administration by monitoring nursing unit inspections; maintaining records for controlled substances; removing outdated and damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory; supervising the work results of support personnel; maintaining current registration; studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; advising management on needed actions.
    • Protects patients and technicians by adhering to infection-control protocols.
    • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
    • Any other duty assigned by your unit head.

    Person's Specification

    • Degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm).
    • Valid Licence.
    • Minimum of 2 years working experience.
    • Proficient with Healthcare Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite
    • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
    • Highly motivated team player willing to go the extra mile
    • Proven work experience as an Administrative Officer, Administrator or similar role
