Job Description

• We are looking for an Editorial/Corporate Communications officer to join our team
• The person must be highly adaptive with innovative ideas to drive high-quality content and publicity for our organization
• He must be adept in writing and communication, with demonstrable previous experience in similar roles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement magazine editorial calender
• Research, write and edit news, article and feature stories
• Establish effective Relationship with key news source
• Develop and implement an effective company/board communications strategy tailored to the media, government agencies, suppliers, other relevant publics.
• Develop and disseminate content for company communications including public relations and marketing materials.
• Establish effective relationship with local  and international media; and maintain up-to-date media database
• Plan and manage company events such as press conferences etc.
• Manage company website and social media platforms and monitor mention of the company in the print and online media.

Requirements

• B.A/B.Sc. in Mass Communication
• 3-5 years Print & Online Editorial and Corporate communication experience
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Sound corporate reputation management skills
• Excellent social media skills and knowledge of social media tools
• Sound interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Result-driven and High adaptability
• Age: 25 - 30 years
• Knowledge of French and the aviation industry will be an added advantage.
