    Petrophysicist

    COMPANY PROFILE
    We are currently collaborating with an International E&P organisation who are seeking to identify a Petrophysicist to provide an extensive petrophysical input to an asset team, supporting Well and reservoir management, well drilling and development planning.

    JOB DESCRIPTION
    The client I am currently representing are a well- established International operator seeking to identify a Petrophysicist to provide an extensive petrophysical input to an asset team, supporting Well and reservoir management, well drilling and development planning.

    Skills required:

    •     Degree in Science and Engineering
    •     10 years’ minimum petrophysical experience
    •     Experience and interest with dynamic integration of petrophyscial data with auxiliary disciplines.
    •     Proficiency in Petrel software.

    Roles and Responsibility:
    Development and planning:

    •      Productive collaboration with integrated team of geoscientist and petroleum/production engineers to deliver robust studies to define future field development opportunities and reserve potential.
    •     Implementation of production activities sanctioned by FDP’s and associated studies.
    •     Assuring accurate and relevant data acquisition.
    •     Well proposal generation, data and interface management while directing, following and supporting rig operations.

    Well and Reservoir management

    •     Own, implement and monitor reservoir management and surveillance plans and activities under the umbrella of the Field Development and Management strategy, aimed at full life- cycle field development, reservoir management and maturation.
    •     Ensuring cost-effective logging programs, minimizing scope change and looking for innovative ways of minimizing costs without compromising objectives.
    •     Participation in reservoir / well performance and development against plans while actively supporting completion optimisations.
    •     Working together with surveillance engineers and geoscientists to achieve maximised production levels in developed wells, undeveloped wells and by-passed oil.
    •     Ability to make recommendations for production acceleration by ascertaining development and appraisal options.
