Factory Manager at Winco Foam Industries Limited

Job Description/Responsibilities

• Manage and motivate workers to achieve the factory daily targets.
• Oversee factory workers, production and efficiency of the machines to make sure the factory is running smoothly, quickly, efficiently, effectively and safely
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Monitor daily attendance, investigate and resolve causes of absenteeism
• Ensure safety regulations and policies are implemented within the factory floor and among the factory workers.
• Create and revise systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and personnel requirements
• Ensure adequate staff and resources are in place to deliver orders on time.
• Resolve factory issues in a timely manner to avoid disruption of workflow.
• Work with maintenance department to schedule routine inspection and maintenance of factory machines to prevent machine downtime.
• Ensure materials and equipment are readily and continuously available for workers to carry out their tasks.
• Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards

Requirements

• Minimum of a B.Sc or HND with 2-5 years experience in a leadership position
• Computer Literacy: Good knowledge of Excel and Microsoft word.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Eye for detail and accuracy.
• Reliable, with high integrity and strong work ethic.

• Ability to lead people.
