    HR Manager (School)

    The main purpose of this position is to ensure the effective coordination of the full spectrum of human resources management activities within the organization and with external clients/contacts.

    • Develop, implement and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, policies and procedures across the organization that are aligned with the overall business strategy 
    • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues 
    • Manage the recruitment, selection and on-boarding process  of new employees
    • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
    • Develop, nurture and monitor to ensure a positive working environment  
    • Prepare employee Separation Notices and related documentation and conduct Exit Interviews to determine reasons behind separations
    • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance 
    • Maintain the payroll and other benefits programs 
    • Maintain employee records 
    • Assess training needs and monitor the implementation of training programs  
    • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics 
    • Ensure the organization’s compliance with all statutory requirements relating to businesses operating in Nigeria
    • Coordinate staff meetings and follow up on agreed resolutions/action plans for implementation.


    KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

    • 4+ years of cognate industry experience as an HR Generalist in a leading organization
    • Graduate; possessing a Bachelors or Masters Degree
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, collaborative, and interested in building a team with different backgrounds
    • Practical understanding and application of different Nigerian Labour Laws 
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and manage remote teams  
    • Demonstrate strong abilities as an organizer, relationship builder, negotiator, problem solver and use of MS Office applications
    • Prior experience in an Administration role is an added advantage

    Monthly Salary: N200, 000.00
