    Director, Deal Advisory

    Responsibilities

    • Drive business development efforts, particularly sell-side opportunities
    • Assist organisations and their stakeholders with addressing issues that arise from underperformance, liquidity concerns, and insolvency
    • Lead project teams in the identification of critical factors underlining a corporation's operational and financial under-performance, as well as develop and implement plans to return the corporation to profitability and financial soundness
    • Simultaneously manage multiple projects involving complex operational and financial problems
    • Help clients develop plans for communicating complex quantitative and qualitative information to third-parties
    • Supervise, coach and develop younger team members
    • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in project planning and execution and overall client service delivery

    Qualifications

    • About 10 years of relevant financial advisory experience including mergers and acquisitions, sales and divestitures and buyouts
    • Minimum of second class (upper division) Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Business, Finance or a similar discipline (an MBA or Master’s degree in finance will be an added advantage)
    • Excellent business development, financial, analytical, and accounting skills
    • Strong verbal and written communication as well as presentation skills
    • Client-focused and result-driven orientation
    • Business savvy, with demonstrably strong connection with law firms, lenders, and private equity firms
    • Investment banking background and experience will be added advantage
