    Part-Time Early Years/Primary French Teacher

    If you love to create lively and engaging language lessons and want to develop your professional skills in teaching, then this is the role for you!

    QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

    •  B.(Ed)/B.A/M.ED in French
    • The applicant should be a native French speaker or someone very fluent in French to be eligible for this position.
    • At least 3 Years  teaching experience in an Early Years/Primary school setting
    • Must have good knowledge and understanding of the British curriculum.

    THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

    • Must be female, live in Ibadan and be able to commute easily to Jericho
    • Must possess excellent subject knowledge and teaching skills to be able to plan and deliver lessons suitable for the educational needs of children ages three to eleven years following the British Curriculum.
    • Must be enthusiastic and passionate about teaching and be able to demonstrate genuine passion for young children.
    • Must have excellent spoken and written communication skills in English & French
    • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office tools (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
    • Must possess the ability to evaluate and grade pupils' class work, assignments, and papers.
    • Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions.
    • Have a proven track record in consistently good or outstanding teaching and learning and be able to deliver good outcomes for students
    • Be flexible and adaptable
    • Enthusiastic, confident and energetic
    • Have the ability to create a positive learning environment
    • A natural leader with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to inspire confidence, trust and respect amongst staff, pupils and families

    Female Administrative Officer

    We have an exciting opportunity for a well-spoken, driven and organised individual to join our team as an administrative officer.

    In this role you will undertake all receptionist and office administrative duties. You will be the “face” of our school for all visitors and will be responsible for the first impression we make.

    The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy going personality whilst also being very perceptive and disciplined. The goal is to make all parents and visitors to our school feel comfortable and valued.

    This is a demanding role where you will use your exceptional communication skills to establish working relationships with families, senior management, colleagues and important school influencers to fulfil the teams’ objectives.

    You will be working in a fast paced environment where accuracy and reactiveness is critical; ensuring day to day administrative issues are dealt with in a timely and effective manner.

    WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

    • Must hold a degree in Administration or related field
    • Must have minimum 3 years recent experience in a similar role with strong knowledge of office management and impeccable organisational skills.
    • You will be highly professional and confident in dealing with senior management and confidential work
    • Proactive and assertive, but diplomatic and discreet where necessary
    • Customer-focussed attitude and committed to effective service delivery
    • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
    • Diligent attention to detail with strong time management skills
    • You will need to have a passion and commitment to making a difference to children’s lives, being tenacious, confident and have a can do attitude.
    •  Ability to use initiative and be able to multitask
    • Experience with office procedures and basic bookkeeping skills required
    •  Must be proficient in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel and a working knowledge of Corel Draw to be able to produce school newsletters, flyers etc.
    • Must be internet savvy and be able to maintain our online presence, keeping our social media presence relevant and organising media events
    • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities
    • Ability to work independently; problem-solve, analyse issues and create action plans.
    • Ability to analyse and revise operating practices to improve efficiency
    •  Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
    • Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner
    • Must reside in Ibadan and able to commute to Idi-Ishin, Jericho, Ibadan
