Human Resource Associates (HRA) - Our client is registered Oil and Gas service firm located in Rivers state of Nigeria with service offerings in Offshore Waste Management, Vessel/Tank Cleaning, Construction Services, amongst others.
The company needs competent professionals to fill this position:
Reports To: The General Manager
Ensure all accounting, financial documentations and reports are accurate, efficient, updated and on time.
Must have a good knowledge of management accounting and perform activities with little supervision
Must have knowledge of Nigeria Tax systems
Must be able to reconcile bank statements etc
Accounting and financial record keeping and documentation.
Assist with cash management, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Assist with monitoring the stages and progress of all financial transactions.
Assist with preparing and maintaining financial records for individual projects in a manner that facilitates management reports..
Assist with preparation of cash flow forecast.
Assist with payroll administration ensuring all statutory documentations are accurately and timely filed.
Assist with preparation of all accounting and financial reports and documents.
Assist with budget preparation and forecast.
Ensure all accounting processes are performed in a timely and accurate manner..
Prepare necessary accounting and financial reports as required.
University degree in Accounting .
Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN); Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA)
Good knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
Working knowledge of financial statutory requirements.
Proficiency in computer programs for accounting, database, spread sheets and word processing.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Prioritisation and time management skills.
Exceptional negotiation skills.
Must be capable of operating with minimal level of supervision.
Must maintain high level of accuracy and ability to keep detailed file notes.

In a nutshell, this job role entails the proper management of the organizations records, the incumbent will also be responsible for bid packaging of the company.
Responsible for developing and managing a filing system for the company. This post involves ensuring that documents are kept in the right location and are accessible to all internal services.
Responsible for developing and maintaining a document control system
Responsible for managing the bid packaging process of the company
Responsible for overseeing and managing all documents of the company. Maintain the documents and drawings in the Document Control office under safe custody without any damage or deterioration with easy traceability.
The preparation of the companies QA manual control and supervision of all amendments and revisions
Control all achieve documentation upon the completion of the project
Coordinate all QA/QC activities
The preparation and control of project quality system management documentation prior to project commencement.
Monitor all quality related activities on the project
Qualifications and Skills level:
A Degree in any background
The candidate should be Between the ages of 25-35
Certification in QAQC or experience in this area is preferable
Must have a fair knowledge of safety procedures
Main Purpose of the Job
To provide high quality management and administrative assistance to the Executive Director of the company.
Manage and coordinate the activities of the executive director
Manage the executive director’s diary and appointments, ensuring effective use of time and preparation of necessary paper work in advance
The candidate must be able to review legal documents and identify underlying clauses
The candidate must be smart, well organized and meticulous in handling official documents
Filter incoming calls, sorting, filtering, redirecting and taking actions as appropriate.
Preparing and editing correspondence, developing reports and presentations.
Managing projects and conducting research
Qualifications and Skills level:
Must have experience in the legal profession, a degree in law will be an added advantage
Must have worked in a law firm, preferably as a confidential secretary
Must have 3-4 years experience
Must be between the ages of 25-35
Good experience in Microsoft applications (Basic and Advanced)
Other related qualifications will be an added advantage
