    Learning Facilitator/Admin. (Contract)

    Introduction

    This role is responsible for performing general Learning Administration, providing process and client support and is individually accountable for achieving results through own efforts. This role will assist with delivery, design, development and assessment of learning interventions.

    Job Specification

    • An Administrator with an adequate level of skill and knowledge in Learning & Development.
    • Assists with the design and implementation of learning interventions.
    • Customises and/or updates existing learning material based on business needs.
    • Assists with Learning Assessments.
    • Reports on the strengths and shortcomings of the learning events.
    • Assists with the improvement of learning Interventions when and if required.
    • Performs general learning administration.
    • Resolves queries about process issues relating to Learning practices.
    • Provides process support on HR issues as part of a segment/business unit Learning team, or a centralised Learning area.
    • Deals with personal and sensitive information that necessitates confidentiality at all times.

    Key Result Areas
    Learning  Delivery:

    • Conducts knowledge/skills assessment for each learning intervention, including formative and summative assessments.
    • Ensures all related learning data is captured.
    • Ensures all processes related to Learning interventions are completed.
    • Manages and reports on all learning data.

    Personal Effectiveness:

    • Accountable for service delivery through own efforts.
    • Individually accountable for managing own time, tasks and output quality for periods of 1 day to a maximum of three (3) months.
    • Collaborates effectively with others to achieve personal results.
    • Accepts and lives the company values.

    Learning Effectiveness:

    • Analyses trends related to learning evaluation, effectiveness and quality of the learning intervention.
    • Reports on the strengths and shortcomings of the learning interventions and recommends improvements.
    • Provides stakeholder feedback or reports on learning intervention as required.

    Learning Design:

    • Assists with training needs analysis for specified areas.
    • Assist with the development and/or adaptation of existing learning material.
    • Obtains quality approval for learning material prior to formal implementation.

    Minimum Requirements

    • A first degree or its equivalent
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
    • Interpersonal and time management skills
    • Good knowledge of MS packages (Especially MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook)
    • HR related study or experience of 1 to 2 years is an added advantage

    GI Policy Retention Assistant

    Introduction

    • This role is individually accountable for conducting variety of client interactions (telephone, electronic or face to face) with regards to Policy Renewal, in accordance with business, process and compliance guidelines.
    • This role is accountable for all client policy renewals and retention efforts especially in the General Insurance Retail Mass Market Cluster.

    Descriptor:

    • Provides telephonic, electronic and face-to-face policy renewal assistance to customers and other intermediaries.
    • Handle customer objections swiftly and appropriately to ensure maximum retention of all policies due for renewal

    Key Result Areas
    Monitoring Policy Retention:

    • Conduct daily follow up on policies not renewed within the renewal period
    • Provide interventions and options to customer in view of any policy cancellations requests in order to reduce the number of policy drop-offs
    • Manage, track and monitor Inactive / lapsed policy data for specified retention activity on a daily basis
    • With every customer interaction, stimulate further interest in the company's services by inviting customers to use all our services and products offering.
    • Seek referrals from satisfied customers, capture and communicate the leads to appropriate sales channel for follow-up and closing
    • Notifying customers of alternative payment channels to promote the recovery of renewal premiums
    • Notify Customers of loyalty rewards and Promo’s currently available for reviving policies
    • Regain the trust of inactive policy holders with the intention to reactivate policies due for renewal
    • Provide weekly reports on renewal activities – i.e. tracking & recoveries completed
    • Capture and share relevant data for sales teams on daily lapsed renewal status
    • Follow-up on emailers and SMS campaigns for un-renewed policies

    Stakeholder Management:

    • Relationship building - Initiates, maintains and manages relationships with third parties in relation to policy retention
    • Timely resolution of customer complaints resulting from lapsed renewals and/ or  cancellations
    • Providing top level customer service

    Qualifications and Experience

    • A first degree or its equivalent
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
    • Interpersonal and time management skills
    • Knowledge of General Insurance products and some understanding of policy processing and terminologies is a major plus.
    • Good knowledge of MS packages (Especially MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook)
