    Field Service Manager - Cementing

    Job Ref No.: ZZ30/ESG /19

    Job Description/Requirements

    • Under general supervision, provides a level of management for multiple crews and equipment at a district level to perform at the worksite.
    • This field job is responsible for improving Safety, Service Excellence, and Customer Satisfaction.
    • Must be a trained assessor and remain active in assessments while in this role.
    • Must understand and use Halliburton’s Management System (HMS) for cementing operations, including the use of Management of Change, and Halliburton and Customer Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Standards.
    • Must be able to communicate to cementing crews importance of following Halliburton processes for job execution.
    • Regularly uses performance data to identify opportunities for performance improvement.
    • Monitors on-site field performance assessments (End of Job Customer Survey (EJCS)) / Key Performance Indicator review).
    • Involved in internal audits of cementing operations.
    • Responsible for promoting safety awareness in all aspects of location operations.
    • Actively promotes and uses our tools related to safe work, such as Job Safety Analysis, Behavior Based and Hazard Observation Programs.
    • Involved in development and completion of local PSL HSE and SQ Plans.
    • Manages development of personnel using competency system to enhance job performance.
    • Coordinates and assists with Correction, Prevention, and Improvement (CPI) process for the PSL, ensuring open CPIs are effectively addressed and closed.
    • Investigates and performs follow- up activities on unplanned events and/or jobs using Taproot.
    • Responsible for investigating accidents, injuries and incidents within assigned PSL.
    • Assists with implementation of new technology within Cementing.
    • Assists employees with Human Resource Development and Human Resources issues (competency development, PPR), Personnel Performance Management, I.E. developing personnel for their next assignment.
    • Job role contributes directly to value creation and directly impacts a revenue center’s viability or its quality of service via personal contributions.
    • Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in Cement field operations.
    • In lieu of undergraduate degree requirement additional skills are acquired with 10 years of Cement field operations experience.
    • Experience in oil and gas deep-water operation will be an added advantage for applicants.

    Well Control Specialist - Response, I

    Job Description/Requirements

    • Under general supervision, monitoring of oil well blowout and emergency conditions, firefighting, well-killing and other blow out procedures in emergency drilling situations.
    • Has knowledge of basic oilfield terminology, communicates effectively verbally, in writing and in illustration.
    • Demonstrates understanding of what is required on internal reports as well as what is required on customer reports per job scope.
    • Demonstrates fundamental understanding of hydraulic power and basic understanding of firefighting pumping operations and fluid hydraulics.
    • Must demonstrate basic understanding of fluid storage.
    • Understands procedures to determine hazards and responsibilities of working in domestic and foreign countries.
    • Has understanding of key Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) issues as related to activities on project site.
    • Able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of well control equipment and well control operations.
    • Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of response plans and how they are utilized during a well control operation.
    • Understands the need for well control and is familiar with basic well control principles.
    • Assists in repair and maintenance of equipment.
    • Completion of an undergraduate degree in Engineering preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in well site operations.
    • Must work under hazardous conditions including high pressure, high temperature, loud noise, fire, chemical and gas exposures, moving machinery, etc.
    • Attention to detail, quality orientation required.
    • Must be able to organize multiple projects.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Strong problem solving abilities.
    • Strong PC computing skills preferred, including MS Office and engineering software.
    • Good communication and effective working relationships exist with other departments.
    • Experience in oil and gas deep-water operation will be an added advantage for applicants.

    Technical Advisor - Prevention

    Job Description/Requirements

    • Under broad direction, supervises assigned staff and is also responsible for performing calculations and making assessments on well control problems both onsite and from the office.
    • Also, works on special international and domestic projects that involve well control and prevention activities.
    • Assists with troubleshooting involving well control and prevention.
    • Maintains appropriate reports and documentation of well site activities.
    • Supports team members and ensures that deadlines are net.
    • Provides technical support on location as required by the customer or Product Service Line (PSL).
    • Assignments require sufficient professional experience involving well control, prevention and well construction to assure competence as a fully trained professional.
    • Must be able to work independently.
    • This is the lead position responsible for Job execution and overall performance.
    • Responsible for company assets on location.
    • Ensures that adequate supplies and equipment are present at well site at all times.
    • Offers advice on equipment capabilities.
    • Keeps management informed of significant problems, possess good communication skills.
    • Complies with safety regulations and has full understanding of HSE management systems and emergency response planning.
    • Completion of an undergraduate degree in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering or related discipline and a minimum of 15 years of experience in wellsite operations required.
    • Must have an understanding of Company operations and needs.
    • Must have strong knowledge of engineering concepts.
    • Must have strong understanding of Halliburton Engineering and Response departments’ processes and concepts, and a good working knowledge of the Halliburton Management System (HMS).
    • Experience in oil and gas deep-water operation will be an added advantage for applicants.

    Operations Leader - Directional Drilling (DD)

    Job Description/Requirements

    • Provides job design, well-site technical support, and post job analysis to customers.
    • Functions as a communications link with the Solutions Team.
    • Develops and maintains a personal relationship with the technical customers in assigned area.
    • Integrates multiple Product Service Lines (PSLs) in job design.
    • Documents EVC practices to the Solutions Team.
    • Consults with PSLs regarding equipment needs and specifications.
    • Provides technical training as required.
    • Typical incumbents have a minimum of 7 years’ experience with an average experience of 10-15 years.

    General Requirements

    • Completion of an undergraduate degree or its equivalent in Engineering preferred or combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
    • All candidates are expected to have practical knowledge in the field applied for with a minimum years’ of experience as stated above.
    • Experience in oil and gas deep-water operation will be an added advantage for applicants.
