    Admin & Finance Officer

    Job Description

    • WOCCI has exciting opportunity for Admin & Finance Officer to join our dynamic team. This position is well suited to an individual looking to advance his/her career in NGO finance management and gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace.

    Objectives

    • Based within the Admin & Finance unit, the Admin and Finance officer will work closely with all program areas of the organization, assist with the development and execution of project targets in his/her field of primary assignment and helping the team to achieve agreed targets
    • The position reports directly to the Admin & Finance Manager

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare and summit monthly financial reports to the management and donors promptly
    • Manage cash books, assets register and banking records.
    • Track and manage asset inventory, orders and requests from program officers, and relate with vendors for procurements.
    • The post holder will also support with disbursement of funds to project beneficiaries.
    • Providing quarterly financial updates and forecast to management and donors

    Requirements

    • Minimum of a B.Sc. or HND in Accounting or other related field
    • 2-3 years post NYSC experience.
    • Knowledgeable in the use of relevant accounting softwares
    • Excellent and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and power point presentation
    • Excellent project management skills and attention to details
    • Ability to work with minimum supervision
    • Good communication skills
    • Must reside in Karu, Nasarawa state.

    Project Officer


    Details

    • WOCCI has exciting opportunities for four (4) project officers to join our dynamic team. These positions are well suited to individuals looking to advance their career in Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) case management programming and gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace. The openings are in Karu LGA in Nasarawa state

    Project Officers will work in the following areas:

    • Health, Nutrition and Linkage
    • Gender, Psychosocial and adolescents program
    • Household Economic Strengthening
    • Education, Child and Legal Protection

    Objectives

    • Based within the OVC program, the candidate will work closely with all areas of OVC program, to assist with the development and execution of project targets in his/her field of primary assignment and helping the team to achieve agreed targets. The position reports directly to the Program Manager

    Responsibilities

    • Writing prompt and accurate program reports to management and donor weekly and monthly respectively.
    • Training and monitoring Community Volunteers that are assigned to you
    • Ensure all beneficiaries receive relevant services at least once every quarter.
    • Creating exciting content for both internal and external communications.
    • Liaising with relevant external agencies for smooth program execution.
    • Maintaining up to date records and line lists of beneficiaries and monitoring their progress both in their communities and health facilities.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of first Degree or HND in Social sciences or other relevant field
    • 2-3 years post NYSC experience.
    • Knowledge of OVC programming is essential
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and power point presentation
    • Excellent project management skills and attention to details
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision
    • Good communication skills
    • Innovative
    • Fluency in English and Hausa is essential and Gbagyi is desirable.
    • Must reside in Karu, Nasarawa state.
