    Portfolio Manager

    Job Role

    • The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of investments and funds, work closely with the wealth advisor, understand and proffer appropriate solutions to client’s needs.
    • The appointee will provide technical input on strategies of products consisting of stocks, bonds, ETF and other asset classes, investment strategies for managing collective investment schemes and portfolios across asset classes including equities, fixed income, money market and real estate.
    • Will participate in new business developments, presentation and relationship management.
    • Will determine investment strategies for clients or account officers in the form of a separately managed account, mutual fund, derivatives or some types of collective vehicles.
    • Will meet with current or prospective clients to explain investment strategies, and to obtain background data on personal finances.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • BSc in Relevant discipline,
    • Preferable with a post graduate degree.
    • CFA, CIS qualifications will be useful.
    • Minimum of 10 years experience.

    Assistant General Manager - Investment Banking

    Job Role

    • The appointee into this role will have responsibilities for the Bank’s Investment Banking business, defining strategies and policies, products and processes, including project analysis structuring of transactions as well as risk management

    Managing Director - Asset Management

    Job Role

    • The Managing Director will be responsible for driving the strategic objective of the asset management business in line with laid down policies and within regulatory framework, he/she will also be responsible for defining the investment policy statement and investment management standard operating manual.
    • As leader of the team, the appointee will work with clients to develop appropriate financial & investment priorities, the risk management framework, and de-risking of portfolios, as appropriate.
    • Supervise the business development team to ensure that investment portfolios are appropriately structured to meet clients objective. He/She will be responsible for evaluating employee and portofolio performance.
    • He/She will be actively involved in the development of business strategy, budget, standard operating manuals and policies including investment policy, guidelines, risk management framework, compliance framework and service level agreement.

    Requirements and Qualification

    • B.Sc in Economics, Finance or related disciplines an accredited institutions, complemented by a Master’s Degree in Finance.
    • A CFA/CIS certification will also be added advantage.
    • Fifteen (15) years post qualification experience in a leading financial services company, with at least eight (8) years being a top management executive.
    • Previous experience managing a medium to large indigenous or multinational Assets Management Company will be useful.
    • Above average knowledge of mutual funds and the derivatives markets, supported by strong Issuing house/ capital market experience.

    Head - Treasury

    Job Role

    • Selected candidate for this Senior Management position will head up the treasury function with responsibilities of ensuring that corporate liquidity investments.
    • Forecast current and future cash flow positions and ensure that sufficient funds are available to fund the Bank’s loan books, and meet on-going operational and capital investment requirements.
    • Advise management on the liquidity aspects of the short, medium as well as long range planning and maintain a system of policies and procedures that imposes an adequate level of control over treasury activities.

    Requirements and Quallifications

    • Risk management knowledge essential for managing the Bank Assets and Liabilities as well the Treasury operation function.
    • B.Sc relevant to the role
    • Preferably with appropriate professional qualifications
    • Fifteen (15) years banking experience, the last three (3) years of which must have been as the Head or Deputy Head of the Treasury function of well structured banking institution.
