    Hotel Manager

    Job Description

    • The manager would be responsible for all aspects of operations at the hotel, to day-to-day staff management and guests.
    • He / She should be an ambassador for the brand and hotel.
    • Provide leadership and strategic planning to all departments in support of the service culture, maximized operations and guest satisfaction.
    • Work Very closely with the Managing director and other stake holders.
    • Responsible for managing the Hotels management team (HOD's) and overall hotel targets to deliver an excellent Guest experience.
    • Would also be required to manage between profitability and guest satisfaction measures.
    • Oversee the operations functions of the hotel, as per the Organizational chart.
    • Hold regular briefings and meetings with all heads of departments.
    • Ensure full compliance to Hotel operating controls, SOP’s, policies, procedures and service standards.
    • Lead all key property issues including capital projects, customer service and refurbishment.
    • Handling complaints, and oversee the service recovery procedures.
    • Responsible for the preparation, presentation and subsequent achievement of the hotel's annual Operating Budget, Marketing & Sales Plan and Capital Budget.
    • Manage on-going profitability of the hotel, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded.
    • Ensure all decisions are made in the best interest of the hotels and management.
    • Deliver hotel budget goals and set other short- and long-term strategic goals for the property.
    • Developing improvement actions, carry out costs savings.
    • A strong understanding of P&L statements and the ability to react with impact strategies
    • Closely monitor the hotels business reports on a daily basis and take decisions accordingly.
    • Ensure that monthly financial outlooks for Rooms, Food & Beverage, Admin & General, on target and accurate.

    Qualifications

    • Min of B.Sc Degree or its equivalent in Hospitality Management, Business Management or any related discipline.
    • Min of 10 years’ experience as an Hotel Manager in a reputable Hotel.

    Qualifications

    • Must have technical skills in installation, and commissioning of Air Conditioning System.
    • Language Preference: High level of English; Knowledge of French preferable

    Required Skills:

    • Completed on the job training as a refrigeration engineer or master (Meister)
    • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

    Head, Health Safety and Environment

    Job Description

    • Establish policies, processes and procedures that will help hedge against avoidable loss and liabilities that may result from health and safety issues and ensure that the impact of the company’s business on the environment is minimal
    • To provide operational support that enables the business to anticipate, respond to and minimize physical risks to stakeholders and assets.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Coordinate safety case development, review of HSE plans and Emergency Response participation
    • Ensure the management of the Emergency Response Plans arrangements by providing adequate training and guidance.
    • Act as a focal point for HSE advice and provide support to the Terminal Management team.
    • Coordinate induction, training and support to all personnel in relevant areas of HSE.
    • Investigate accidents/incidents and prepare reports to ensure that 'root cause' issues are both identified and corrected to prevent a recurrence.
    • Ensure that the business is compliant with statutory, regulatory, industry and other HSE requirements
    • Liaise with Heads of SBUs to drive adoption and compliance with HSE standards, policies and procedures
    • Develop an effective incident and accident response programme and lead its implementation across the business
    • Perform other functions as may be assigned by the Group Head, Risk Management

    Qualifications and Experiences

    • Minimum of B.Sc Degree or its equivalent in Engineering, Applied Sciences or other relevant discipline.
    • Ten (10) years’ relevant experience in a Senior Safety role especially in a LOGISTIC FIRM.
    • Candidate must be resident around FESTAC, Amuo Odofin and its environ
    • Relevant HSE Certifications or Postgraduate degree in a related discipline would be an added advantage.

    Truck Driver

    Job Description

    • We are looking for a licensed Truck Driver who will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods and other articles of trade to our customers.
    • You will be tasked with driving and maintaining trucks that will be assigned to you, as well as working closely with our team of dispatchers in order to plan routes and track deliveries.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
    • Document and log work/rest periods and kilometres spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
    • Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
    • Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions

    • Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc)
    • Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
    • Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
    • No recent moving or driving violations
    • Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)

    Marine Superintendent

    Job Description

    • Required to monitor the vessel movements daily.
    • Supervise operations and monitor vessel condition and ship’s staff compliance with management policies, international, state or local Maritime regulations.
    • Responsible for operational related issues and ensures all procedures are adhered to and comply with International safety management (ISM), classification society rules, and Maritime insurance.
    • Protect company’s intellectual property & maintain confidentiality.
    • Performing navigational, cargo and mooring audits and keep records as per company’s standards. Findings to be categorized and trends to be identified.
    • Prepares inspection report (VIR) outlining observations and defects found on board inspected vessels.
    • Close monitoring and follow up of vessel’s maintenance status.
    • Review and approval of all deck and paints requisitions.
    • Ensures that all vessels are supplied with proper mooring wires and ropes as per Company’s standards
    • Maintain and promote navigational standards on board vessels.
    • Arrange supply/renewal and proper certification of all safety, LSA and FFA. Maintenance of safety-related equipment and keeping of proper operational records.
    • Supervising vessel’s commercial operations (tank cleaning, loading and discharging) in port and enroute; ensuring efficient and safe use of the equipment and compliance of the vessel with her commercial obligations.
    • Checking Loading / Discharging / Ballasting plans and procedures, COW and Passage plans and all other operation-related forms.
    • Checking the navigational operations on board Company vessels including updating nautical charts, publications and corrections.
    • Issuing visit reports that include his remarks on the vessel’s condition, personnel (including level of cooperation) and equipment; makes recommendations for rectification of deficiencies or improvements to the existing situation.
    • Verifying that safe working practices are followed in accordance to industry standards, current regulations and the CMS.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of B.Sc in Marine Engineering or related field.
    • Minimum of 10 years’ compliance related managerial experience in tangible shoreside technical, and DPA
    • Proven record of achievement within marine operations.
    • Experience of multi-activity joint venture operations.
    • Good awareness of industry/transportation trends, philosophies, best practice etc..
    • Experience and knowledge of a wide range of offshore support vessels, Dynamic positioning systems, logistic vessels, Diving and Construction vessels, Semi-submersible and Jackup units.

    Accountant (Female)

    Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

    Job Responsibilities

    • General Ledger - Set up new accounts in general ledger; Review/Reconcile general ledger accounts - Weekly; Write and post journal entries (duly approved) for reclassification of expenses as needed- Weekly; Closure of monthly ledger (ensure all costs are taken in); Run /check trial balance
    • Bank reconciliation/ Budget & Audit preparation - Prepare monthly bank reconciliations; Adjust reconciling items as appropriate; Budget/Audit as Required
    • Fixed Asset register - Ensure maintenance of Capitalization limits Update fixed asset Register with additions and disposals; Keep file of all invoice copies related to Fixed assets; Run monthly depreciation.
    • Accounts Receivables – Ensure invoicing of customers occur as and when they are due; Follow through on payments due & reconcile accordingly; Provide Debtors Ageing Report consistently.
    • Accounts Payable - Receive supplier invoices, code appropriately and send for approval -daily; Input all approved supplier invoices into Odoo; Ensure all monthly invoices are received, otherwise take provisions; Run creditors report and publish; Prepare Supplier payments
    • Tax Returns: Paye, VAT & WHT computation & rendition
    • Customer Accounts - Post customer receipts into account and reconcile customer accounts - daily; Ensure individual departmental reports match system generated report, and produce Group receivables
    • Inventory/Stock Mgt – Ensure all stock-in & stock-out are well managed & reconcile with the General Ledger & Reports.
    • Management Reports – produce monthly P&L & Balance Sheet Report
    • Perform other functions as assigned by the DMD/MD.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of a B.Sc. Degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance or any related discipline.
    • Must be a FEMALE with Min of 3 years’ experience as an Accountant.

    Salary Range

    • N100,000 - N120,000 per month.
