Quality Control Officer at Prixair Catering

Job Brief

As a Quality  Control Officer you  are responsible for making sure that our food products meet a set of predetermined quality standards. The products you will inspect is food. You will separate out any products that fail inspection and make recommendations on how to improve the production process in order to reduce the product inspection failure rate.

Job Description

• Inspect raw materials to ensure consistency and integrity
• Maintain, test and troubleshoot all instrumentation devices
• recall all failed  products to determine the best way to prevent it from happening.
• Test a certain percentage of all products based on industry standards
• Report problems or concerns to senior management immediately
• Manage our quality assurance division and ensure all employees meet their required quotas
• Provide training and support to the production team
• Create an effective, efficient testing protocol to be used across all product lines

Job Requirements

• Bsc in a related field and a Master’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering preferred
• 4+ years’ in quality control or quality assurance position
• 2+ years’ in a supervisory position a plus
• Analytical, logical thought process and meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to translate skills and knowledge to others
• Industry certification a plus
• Based in Abuja.

Note: This role is based in Abuja and only Abuja based candidates or willing to relocate to Abuja on  a short 2  day notice for interview.
