    Operations/Branch Managers

    Position Purpose

    To increase our brand goodwill through superior service delivery.

    Job Description

    • Ensure day to day branch operations run smoothly.
    • Ensure scheduled service timelines are strictly adhered to, minimize disruption and resolve any unscheduled delays.
    • Coordinate the activities of the branch operations staff to ensure available buses are assigned to routes, positioned and moved efficiently and effectively
    • Disseminate information as communicated by Management to branch staff members
    • Communicate shortage or surplus of buses at the branch to the HOO
    • Conduct weekly price survey forwards reports to the HOO
    • Ensure the branch facilities are efficiently cleaned and maintained.
    • Ensure the branch meets its performance targets.
    • Ensures accurate remittances to the accounts department.
    • Proactively attend to questions and queries and deliver high standard of customer experience.
    • Identify opportunities to improve the interface and our service to passengers and relay the potential to appropriate Unit(s) for follow up
    • Ensure all employees within the branch comply strictly with the policies and procedures of the organization. E.g. resumption time, dress code, professionalism towards passengers etc
    • Promote company products and services.
    • Promotion of brand Goodwill.
    • Provide guidance to all passengers on products and services offerings.
    • Resolve products or services escalation(s)
    • Liaise with the workshop to develop and implement a proactive, planned and structured approach to the maintenance of fleet vehicles, keeping within the designated budget and ensuring all vehicles used are fit for purpose and the customer experience is of a high standard. 
    • Conduct necessary investigation(s) to determine the cause of problems like accidents (if any arises) and set up safety measures to avoid recurrence of such issues.
    • Assist in road crashes and rescue management activities.
    • Generate daily operations report for the management usage
    • Handle charter enquiry and booking
    • Your job description may vary from time to time due to amendment and additional duties as required to meet the Company’s needs.

    Qualities/ Abilities:   Patient; Empathetic: willingness and ability to put yourself in our passengers’ shoes, willingness and ability to put the company first at all times. Ability to drive a bus/vehicle;

    Key performance indicators - KPI

    • 0% Errors in the fleet movement chart.
    • 100% compliance with all legal, regulatory requirements for fleets,
    • Adequacy, comprehensiveness, effectiveness and quality of operations report.
    • No of buses loaded per day

    Salary: Negotiable

    Experience:     Minimum of 2- 7 years cognate experience as branch/terminal manager  in the transportation/logistic  service industry

    Qualification: HND; BSC in any field
