    General Manager Sales

    Job Description

    • Develop comprehensive strategic sales plan for the organization
    • Quarterly visits to existing customers and monthly visits to A-store customers
    • Stay attuned to market trends, ensuring sales activities are coordinated accordingly
    • Set sales targets, with frequent reviews to ensure alignment with organizational goals
    • Identify new market opportunities in terms of market penetration and expanding regional coverage
    • Negotiate sales prices, contracts and payment plans with suppliers
    • Ensure that all branches and outstations meet their weekly, monthly and yearly targets.
    • Provide reports on sales trends per sku, location and reporting period
    • Develop innovative and effective training and staff development programs for sales force.
    • Develop effective incentive program for sales representatives
    • Enhance and improve positioning and image of  brands, by creating unique customer experiences and ensure a positive relationship between all customers and the company
    • Supervising and monitoring activities of branch  sales forces, through branch FSM
    • Coordinating all administrative sales activities on a day to day basis

    Job Requirement

    • A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, economics or  related field
    • At least 7 years’ experience in sales, with two of those  in a managerial role
    • FCMG industry experience
    • Experience in leadership or managerial roles
    • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
    • Excellent qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
    • Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Innovation and Creativity
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills

    General Manager Finance

    Job Description

    • Establish long and short term financial strategy and plan for the organization
    • Establish key financial reports and ensure that the company financial statements are prepared timely, conform to relevant statutory regulations and show true and fair view of the business position
    • Liaise with bankers, external auditors, tax consultants and government authority in relation to accounting issues, licenses and taxes
    • Monitor and control flow of cash and disbursements to meet the business and investment needs of the company
    • Ensure financial analysis, cost analysis and all profitability modelling are accurate, robust and fully understood within the Finance department
    • Supervise purchase orders and overall cost allocation  to departments
    • Ensure that the business adopts and adheres to a robust system of financial controls.
    • Coordinate all activities between the Head Office and branch accounts functions
    • Oversee fixed asset management, Tax management, and Treasury and Payroll functions of the company
    • Champion company budgetary process to ensure all budgets adequately reflect periodic resource requirements and revenue estimates for the business
    • Direct and oversee the company’s credit policy in terms of credit issuance, establishing credit-rating criteria, and monitoring collections
    • Develop and direct financial controls to limit risk and reduce the company’s exposure to business and environmental uncertainties
    • Prepare annual budget, monthly forecasts and analysis of variances during the year

    Job Requirement

    • A Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
    • Accredited professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CFA or ICAN).
    • Minimum of seven years post professional qualification experience in a structured distribution/commercial environment with three years of financial managerial experience
    • Experience in environments with high transaction volumes and multiple operational locations
    • Computer knowledge and working experience in Sage Pastel accounting package
    • Possess excellent analytical skills, meticulous and result oriented
    • Good communication skills

    General Manager Operations

    Job Description

    • Participate in strategic business planning processes in conjunction with all senior management.
    • Ensure all distribution operations meet set financial and strategic business objectives
    • Direct and control all ordering and distribution employees to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained and carry out their responsibilities appropriately
    • Contribute to the development of the company’s corporate strategy and lead strategy development in the areas of ordering and distribution to ensure that company achieves its short- and long-term objectives
    • Develop and implement all necessary policies and procedures to ensure that the ordering and distribution functions are in line with business objectives
    • Ensure that goods of the required standard are available to VSRs, OSDOs, and branches at the right time
    • Supervise warehouse functions to ensure adequate inventory required by BSRs, VSRs, OSDOs, Wholesalers, Sub-Ds and branches
    • Develop all necessary policies and procedures to ensure that a safe and healthy working environment is maintained at all company sites
    • Foster open communication amongst all managers to ensure cohesion and streamlining of all business functions in line with corporate objectives
    • Act as the company’s main adviser on all issues relating to operational functions and keep abreast of latest developments to ensure that the company maintains its competitive position.
    • Develop operating policy and process guidelines, with accompanying metrics to measure adherence
    • Supervise human resource functions to ensure efficient use of human resources
    • Manage company relationship with P&G, serving as the companies first point of contact

    Job Requirement

    • A Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field.
    • Minimum, 5 years post-qualification experience, 1 of which must have been spent in a similar managerial role.
    • FMCG Industry experience
