Vacancy in an Engineering & Road Construction Company

Key duties/responsibilities:
i. Responsible and accountable for all administrative and accounting procedures, budgeting, cash flow, intemal controls, monitoring and preservation of the company assets
ii. Perform/review bank account reconciliations and assist with corporate balance sheet reconciliations and other corporate monthly intemal management reports
iii. Track all company's assets and liabilities; maintaining files on all the properties of the company.
iv. Calculate and invoice general contracting fees and allocate payroll to projects. Responsible for Construction accounts receivable tracking, management, and reporting
v. Ensure appropriate procedures for financial reporting, record keeping and documentation which maintains files in an orderly, accurate and current manner.
vi. Ensure company's compliance with all govemmentallaws, policies and regulations especially with regards to statutory deductions and remittances
vii. Maintain project-related records, induding contracts and change orders
viii. Interface with Project Managers and senior management on all aspects of construction accounting
ix. Assist with processing payroll for site workers when necessary.
x. Any other responsibilities as may be assigned by management.

Who should apply?

• Any candidate who possesses a Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent (minimum of second class lower) in Finance or Accounting from a reputable University
• ACA or ACCA certified
• Minimum of 4 years working experience in project accounting;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills;
• Applicants must be self motivated with ability to deliver projects in a timely and quality manner.
• Applicants should not be more than 35 years old.
