    Risk Officer

    Department: Risk Department

    Purpose

    • As a Risk Officer you'll be responsible for managing the risk of AgroMall, its employees, customers, reputation, assets and interests of stakeholders along with the Risk Manager
    • You may work in a variety of sectors and specialize in a number of areas including business continuity, corporate governance, enterprise risk, information and security risk, market and credit risk, regulatory and operational risk, technology risk etc.

    Principal Responsibilities
    Operational and Technical Responsibilities:

    • Manage the process for developing risk policies and procedures for AgroMall.
    • Assist with the development and coordination of the risk management process which includes identifying, assessing, analyzing, reporting and evaluating company's risks.
    • Facilitate quarterly review and update of risks across AgroMall.
    • Review and track close out of risks action items by due dates and ensure risk management infrastructures that support risk management process are performing effectively.
    • Generate and send risk management reports to appropriate level of authorities as required.
    • Carrying out processes such as purchasing insurance, implementing health and safety measures and making business continuity plans to limit risks and prepare for if things go wrong

    Internal Audit and Control Officer

    Department: Audit and Control Department

    Purpose

    • The role will be responsible for implementing internal audit, Control and Corporate Governance system in AgroMall.

    Principal Responsibilities
    Operational and Technical Responsibilities:

    • Ensure proper internal audit and control system in AgroMall and carry out Audit activities and prepare reports.
    • Coordinate the compilation and continuous review of a detailed transaction process flow for all key activities in the organization and define control measures to ensure compliance.
    • Supervise the execution of Agromall’s control procedures on financial processes such as revenue collection, receivable and asset management, investments, international operations, etc.
    • Prepare/ review internal audit reports covering audit activities, findings and overall assessment of control environment.
    • Ensure all financial transactions are bona-fide, accurate and processed in line with established policies and procedures and coordinate the review of all payment vouchers to both internal and external parties.
    • Keep abreast of global and local best practice as it relates to the internal audit operations and control system.
    • Coordinate the review of business/ operating processes and practices and information systems to ensure the adequacy of existing controls as well as mitigate errors, irregularities and fraud.
    • Perform investigations into suspected fraudulent/sharp practices across the organization and recommend the appropriate line of action in response to findings.
    • Investigate client complaints and provide reports on same.
    • Prepare audit reports and advise units and committees on departure from policies, procedures, and other exceptions.

    • 4 years relevant experience of which at least two (3) years must have been spent in a similar role in the financial services industry
    • Professional Membership
    • Chartered membership of ICAN/ ACCA required

    Purpose

    Control Manager

    Department: Control Department

    Purpose

    • Control Manager will be the leader of the financial internal controls and will oversees the Governance, Controls, Risk and Compliance process in AgroMall.
    • The Sr Manager Internal Control will lead strategic internal controls, conflicts resolution, and in instances proposing process improvement initiatives to mitigate or resolve risks.

    • Develop, implement and monitor internal control activities, coordinate internal control activities in AgroMall.
    • Responsible for proper application of accounting and financial controls, evaluates existing processes, recommending opportunities to streamline and standardize

    • Collaborate and act as a liaison for all external audit and regulatory agencies

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
    • CPA or equivalent experience
    • Big 4 experience required.
    • Public accounting experience preferred
    • SAP, FDM and HFM strongly preferred

    Technical Skills and Competence:

    • Exceptional servicing and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding relationship.
    • Proficient in implementing Security policies, process, audits, SOX, SOD concepts.
    • Internal Controls / SOX compliance experience as they relate to segregation of duties.

    HSE Officer

    Department: Health and Safety Department

    Purpose

    • Responsible for establishing, developing and implementing AgroMall’s health and safety programs as well as managing all Health and Safety issues in the company.
    • HSE officers must be a detail-oriented professional with strong critical thinking skills who assess risks and create reports to protect AgroMall and its staff against health, safety, and environmental dangers. An enthusiastic and self motivating individual who will be responsible for proactively protecting the health, safety and environment of our employees, partners and communities where we operate.

    Principal Responsibilities
    Technical and Operational Responsibilities:

    • Ensuring compliance with personal and system HSE regulations or applicable consensus standards at all levels.
    • Effectively managing a culture of Learning via lean and flexible HSE systems and processes.
    • Monitor incidents of injury, illness, and other situations within an assigned geographic area in AgroMall.
    • Write reports detailing health and safety within AgroMall’s research and project area/location.
    • Design strategies to reduce incidents of illness, environmental accidents, and other issues that may affect public and staff safety.
    • Go to the field to investigate environmental accidents and other public safety concerns within the location/area. She/he may also assign team members to investigate reported incidents.
    • Give presentations about current safety hazards based on market research to educate others about avoiding health, safety, and environmental hazards.
    • Assess AgroMall’s risks associated with tools and equipment, jobsites, and work environments.
