Job Summary

• Plan, coordinate and control all manufacturing processes.
• Ensure products are produced efficiently (ensure the correct amount of raw material is produced at the right level and quality.)
• Responsible for the technical management, supervision and control of the milling machines and machinist.

Job Description

• Planning and organizing production schedules.
• Oversee production processes
• Organize repairs and routine maintenance of production equipment
• Liaise with buyers, marketing and sales staff
• Suggest relevant training.
• Provide documentation and information to account and the management
• Maintain files, such as maintenance records, bills of loading, or cost reports.
• Compile and prepare documentation related to production sequences, and personnel schedules (such as purchase, maintenance, or repair, and over time).
• Prepare and submit status report for production progress, material inventories, and materials used.
• Ensures that health and safety regulations are met
• Determine quality control standards
• Monitor product standards and implement quality control program
• Review performance of all production staff.
• Supervise and motivate the production team.

Requirement and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering only. Membership with an engineering professional body is a plus or three years apprentice or vocational training.
• Previous work experience in any Agro processing industry is an added advantage.
• Able to handle mechanical issues and minimum of two years’ experience in welding and electrical.
• Applicant must not be older than 34 years old.
